"Smooth installation"

Ben's team did a great job installing the new solar panels, inverter and battery system in August. They were quick and efficient and everything happened to plan, asking about cable routing and other installation choices. The system was installed, explained and up and running in less than half a day.

The impact on our energy usage has been amazing so far after a few days. We are using very little energy from the grid including powering our hot tub. Hopefully this will continue into the winter months.

This was through the Solar Together scheme which has worked well so far.

Martin and his team arrived on the stated time after they called to say they would be delayed due to traffic.

They explained everything to me before they started installing the solar panels and equipment and completed the job efficiently and did a great job.

Overall brilliant experience would highly recommend.

"Friendly and efficient"

Perri called for a site survey at precisely the time arranged. He was polite, friendly and efficient throughout. He quickly surveyed the property (roof, loft, hot-water cylinder and fuse/distribution board) and then explained fully and clearly the recommended installation, including the optional extras, and why these were (or were not) appropriate. His diagram of the installation was excellently clear, and all his explanations were honest and straightforward. He answered all our questions readily and fully.

It was always clear what was involved, including costs and installation dates, and he was a credit to his company. It gives us much confidence that the installation will be carried out to a high standard.

"Smooth operation from start to finish"

Our initial survey was done back in September, and the consultant was very thorough - we had actually planned for a few more panels and a larger battery but he explained why that wasn't necessary for our circumstances, so our installation was going to be cheaper than we thought. He also explained the installation process and gave us an installation date, after which we just needed to pay the deposit to confirm it.

Ben and the team arrived on the appointed day, since there were no changes to our installation date (yay!). They did the installation with very little disruption to us - the power was off for about 20 minutes while they connected everything up.

Afterwards, Ben explained the system and showed the units that had been installed in the loft, how to shut the system off etc, and installing the monitoring application on my phone. They were finished a lot sooner than we expected, the installation looks really good and the wiring is very tidy.

The system has been working well. Of course our first 2 days were clouded over, but after that during the next 5 days we generated nearly half of our own electricity.

I've been in contact with support to ask them questions about the battery, and the responses have come back within the day so all told a very positive experience with them.

We've had no problems so far, and from our experience I'm confident that they'd resolve any issues quickly.

Ben and his team (Kyle & Rob) arrived on time and worked professionally throughout the day to get my panel installation complete in such cold weather conditions. My questions were all answered and I was kept in the loop when changes made to cable routing. The scaffolding was erected 3 days prior to the panel installation and that team also came promptly to the agreed time.

"Happy - but with Caveats"

Communication with Infinity Renewables was good throughout, though the original plan for the location of the panels was pretty optimistic.
The team arrived as planned, with the scaffolding being erected a couple of days ahead, as expected. The more I think about the installation, the more I’m left with a feeling of slight dissatisfaction. It was scheduled as a one-day installation but, with it being mid-December, that’s a short period of daylight. They were, with hindsight, under pressure to complete so I had to get them to tidy up the mounting brackets, they used an excuse about not being able to install the bird netting (which I now regret agreeing to), and the panels are not quite perfectly flat against each other. Small things, but obvious now. I was also pressured to make this a 5-star review, which it was for 6 months; I think this 3-star review is now more accurate.
On a big plus, Infinity Renewals‘ technical support after the installation have been very easy to deal with and just how it should be.
In sum, I’d certainly use Infinity Renewals again but I’d watch the installers and make sure they don’t try to cut corners to get the job done.

Communication with Infinity Renewables was good throughout. System delivered on the scheduled date, and everyone involved was professional. The reason I haven't given 5 stars is that almost 4 weeks after the install, the scaffolding still hasn't been taken down, despite me chasing Infinity and the scaffold contractor about this.
