"Confusing service"
I'm very disapointed of their service!!!
One of the addresses for the picking up of the tickets was changed, and the chat service addressed me to a wrong address, needing to call and pay roaming.
I didnt get what I bought, I booked the visit to the rock, but it ended up that it was not included.
The helicopter was old and I got air sick (I have been working offshore in the north sea and this is a bad helicopter).
The busses for the sightseeing are waiting long time until it get packed, do not respect any schedule and many of the guides were not nice.

"captain of the ship was very rude to me and my daughter"
once on-board with my 11 yrs old daughter, we were happy enjoying Hudson River. 15 later, my child wished to be on the upper deck to have a better view of the world Trade Center. we asked the permission before to go upstairs. once upstairs, the captain of the ship came out of its deck to me shouting at us and was about to hit us. I started to yell at him as well and was about to punch him as well. I will never use again this company. this was the 3pm ship on 5th of Nov 2016. this was our first time to new york... never again trust me

"Long waits and little direction"
We've used this service before as a way to ride around the city learning about the sites and to take us to many destinations along the way. This weekend in NYC was a bust and we found ourselves more frustrated than anything. It was busy because of the marathon (we didn't realize it was the same weekend we were traveling) but it's NYC...busy is kind of expected. However, the wait times for a bus were unusually long, sometimes up to 30 minutes. Many buses were full and had to pass us. Any assistance from the CitySights crew at the stops was futile as they often just dismissed your question (how come that bus went by and didn't stop? it's been 30 minutes, when is the bus coming?) and moved on. Once exiting a bus, I asked the CitySights crew member how to get to the Wall Street Bull. Instead of saying 'you should stay on until the next stop' (which we discovered once we arrived), he didn't answer me, looked down at his watch, and pointed. Not helpful and kind of rude actually. we ended up just taking Uber most places because this time around the HopOnHopOff was not worth the trouble.

"Great way to see a lot"
I chose this tour company based on luck, but liked that it offeren the hop on/off service and offered multiple tours.
They included most of the key sights I hoped to see. However the quality of the guides on the bus varied greatly. From history told work passion and emotional accounts of 911 from the great Ferry guide to the guy who was making fun of people we passed by and exclaiming over food displays for blocks, and a few in between those extremes.
Overall I was really pleased that I bought the ticket though.

Great staff, very helpful. Was worth purchasing ahead of time online, received a few extra perk tickets for other sights in the city. Unfortunately we were unable to use them.

"Very short flight"
I bought a flight for 2 people for 20 minutes, it was a bit shorter. And place in the helicopter was insufficient. We got 6 in 1 helicopter, all stuck against each other and could not move to look at the view. Really expensive for what it is!

"Low value for money"
I don´t like to pay twice and I don´t like to be there 45 min. ahead doing more or less nothing. What was told to be a security walk through, was only putting wests on.
The pilot and the flight it self was ok.

Terrible customer service experience. CitySigntsNY denies any relationship with third parties when there is a problem. Avoid!
