"I ordered a refurbished monitor"
I ordered a refurbished monitor, that was then recalled, and I still have not gotten my refund and customer service is not helpful saying I will be refunded and it has been a week. Very disappointed and just want my money back.

"I ordered in the middle of Thanksgiving …"
I ordered in the middle of Thanksgiving week which understandably extended the processing time a bit, but it would've been nice to have a little more communication regardless.

"No product"
Ill be honest, the customer service representative that I spoke with was courteous and professional, the issue didn't lie with attitude.
My issue is that I purchased the projector on black Friday because it was the only time I could really afford it. I went all the way through payment and successfully placed my order only to receive two simultaneous emails saying my order was under investigation and cancelled. I am overseas with the military so I can understand the confusion, but unfortunately this meant I couldn't get the product I payed for without reordering at full price or waiting "an undetermined length" for another opportunity.
I do hope to get a projector in the future, but unfortunately I may have to take some extra steps to make sure this doesn't happen again.

"Poor experience and product."
I purchased a W1070 BenQ projector a few years ago. This projector originally came dead on arrival. Luckily the retailer was able to exchange it without issues. At around 3300 hours the lamp exploded in the projector with normal use while using the "smarteco" setting. Under BenQ's product sheet the lamp should have lasted 5000 hrs using that mode.
I bought a replacement lamp which costs $220 but I discovered that the projector was damaged from the original lamp exploding while operating. I returned the projector to BenQ (which was $40 shipping) for repairs but it was out of warranty and the repair was estimated at $270.
I explained to BenQ about the lamp not reaching it's expected lifespan according to their product sheet and how the projector became malfunctioned due to the lamp exploding in the projector. There was apparently nothing that could be done for me though since there was no sort of lamp guarantee and the projector was out of warranty.
What should have been a lamp replacement turned into a potential $530 repair when shipping and lamp replacement is factored into the price. I disagreed to the price and repair and at least the replacement lamp I purchased was refunded. I can't recommend BenQ products knowing that they maybe of a lower quality than advertised.
I can't recommend BenQ products knowing that the product failed to meet advertised standards and little was done to help the consumer. I'll be buying and recommending other projectors that carry a longer warranty and have more affordable lamps.
REPLY: I had notified the customer service rep of everything I've posted here. Your projectors are sold from several certified retailers which does not excuse a product not achieving advertised expectations. I hope those who read this can see there is an obvious lack of care to consumers and avoid this level (or lack thereof) customer service.

"I really love the projector"
I really love the projector that I just bought, HT2050. Very easy set up, great picture and sound. No fan noise. It is a little less bright, but I may have to play around with the settings. Hope the bulb runs long enough. A solid purchase.
