"I join several others I regret to say"
I join several others I regret to say. Made the order, money taken, 2 weeks later no delivery, no e mails on order status. Rang up. Rang me back to say product discontinued and would be a few more days to get an alternative. When asked why I had not been told he said he had not seen the order till now. I asked for an immediate Paypal refund which he did while I was on the phone. Judge for yourselves. After wasting my time I will search again for the product. My advice is read the reviews for customer service and believe them.

I recently ordered an item which I returned to them for a refund under the distance selling regulations.
After 3 reminders, and the passing of a week, no refund has been provided.
I am a long standing customer and can't believe this Extremely poor service.
It's the last order I will place with them and may end up in court action to recover my refund if it's not received by Monday.

Terrible customer service, due to set of 4 pin vices being out of stock they offered me 3 individual ones for the same price! INCREDIBLE!!!!
The order was being held up due to missing stock but they never bothered to let me know, I only found out when I rang to enquire why the order was still pending 4 days later.

I am bemused by the poor reviews. I have used Kings Lynn model shop several times over the past 3 years. On each occasion the order has been dealt with promptly, if there has been a problem I have been contacted and alternatives have been agreed or I have had a refund. On most occasions my order has been shipped the next working day and because they use dpd I have had good visibility of when the parcel would arrive and have had the option of redirecting it to a collection point.
Based on my experiences I would have no hesitation in continuing to shop with them.

"Online Orders are simply just Ignored! Customer Service is Horrendous!"
Ordered an item online Tuesday 18th July. According to the site they despatch within 24 hours. Absolute Rubbish. Obviously took money straight away. 3 days later Order still Pending. Emailed them. 3 Days later, still no reply, so called to Cancel. Bloke answers the phone and didn't seem to care a bit or even want to know why I was cancelling. Worst Company ever. They have obviously set up an online shop to have a presence but I don't think they can be hassled to honour any online purchases. AVOID ONLINE AT ALL COSTS!

Two orders placed recently and both a waste of time. Payment taken immediately even on items out of stock. Had to phone to find out delivery was at least two months away. More recently ordered in stock items only to be told two days later that they were not and at least a week wait.
Still waiting for PayPal refund despite 3 emails and two phone calls. I will NEVER use again.

"Excellent model shop. But sometimes lack communication."
I have used them for years. They are a model shop that caters for both online shopping and as a local go to model shop, for asking advice and instructions on what gear is needed, or on how to best repair a crashed model.
They are very good. However they seem to lack communication, emailing etc. From my experience of visiting and having seen there shop up front, they seem to be overloaded all the time with phone calls, online orders and walk in customers. Although this is not entirely there fault for being popular, this does not negate the fact that when you try to communicate, there isn't always an answer.
They should try to find a solution to this problem, if that means hiring an admin assistant part time or scaling back?? then so be it.
All that said, I certainly won't deny that there shop is very good and they certainly know there stuff. Always have a brilliant selection and spare parts. I have ordered off there website a couple of times when I have not had time to go into the shop and its always been spot on.
