"Keine Empfehlung"

Keine Empfehlung. Einbau nicht abgeshlossen , fehlende Teile und zu allem übel wird man angelogen. Adresse falsch angefahren obwohl 4 Wochen die Lieferadresse per mail mitgeteilt wurde. Übermässig viele unübersichtliche mails, nicht funktionierende Geräte und Vorwürfe man hätte ja "nur" eine Musterküche gekauft. Schlampiger Einbau und unkorrekte Zeiten Angabe. Absprachen werden nicht eingehalten

"Kitchen World Waterford "

Recently got a kitchen from kitchen world, we dealt with John Grace in their Waterford department. John was very helpful and professional throughout the process and design consultations. We're delighted with the new kitchen. A special mention to Johns colleague Gary as well who we dealt with a few times throughout the process, Gary was thoroughly professional and went above and beyond to help us.

"Chef's kiss "

It was fabulous dealing with John Grace from Kitchen World, Waterford. The man is an absolute legend and definitely knows his job, a true professional. We love our new kitchen so much. His advice really paid off in helping us maximize what space we had.

We called over to a few places but after talking to John on the phone, we were immediately sure it would be a great fit, and it turned out so. Great quality, stunning results 👏🏼

John at the Waterford was a great point of contact from start to finish. He really helped take charge of the project from start to finish. He was very responsive in his communication at all times, even with some delays beyond his control.

"I had the pleasure of dealing with John…"

I had the pleasure of dealing with John in kitchenworld in Waterford. John was very helpful from start to finish of the process. The design process was made quite straight forward and John was able to give good suggestions, some of which I would not have thought of that worked out well. All items arrived and kitchen was all fitted all on the arranged days. I had a few minor issues with the kitchen post install, but John was very helpful in arranging for the fitter to call back out at a time that suited me to fix these things. The kitchen looks so well, I would definitely recommend Kitchen world Waterford.

"I would highly recommend Kitchen World"

I would highly recommend Kitchen World, Finglas in helping you get your perfect kitchen. I tried many kitchen companies to get ideas and advice before deciding, to be honest I was disappointment until I went to KW. I had the pleasure of dealing with Shannen. Shannen was full of advice, guidance and patience. No ask was too much for her. The kitchen fitter Jimmy is a lovely man. He is very experienced in what he does and was reassuring especially when we hit a couple of obstacles (all our own fault!). KW is very competitive in price without it effecting the quality.

"Very Satisfied Customers!"

We are very happy to write a review for Kitchenworld on Long Mile Road and the excellent customer service and patience we received from Devin! Our kitchen has turned out better than expected and we are so happy with it! Devin took all ideas we had on board and made very constructive suggestions. Kitchen arrived on due date and time as did the fitter Jimmy who did an excellent job. Signature Space who looked after our counter also arrived on due dates and gave advance notice of time of arrival. Some small issues were sorted out immediately without any fuss. Highly recommend!

"Excellent service at Kitchen World Bray"

A huge thank you to Lorna for her advice and support in choosing and installing my kitchen and a special thanks to Jamie our fitter who did an amazing job. They both made the process so easy and very efficient. I say this as I had checked out a few other kitchen suppliers and found the experience very challenging difficult to get anyone to speak to in the showrooms long waits on getting appointments to discuss options and cost and very poor follow up. With Kitchen World it was so much easier I’ll called into Bray was offered an appointment within days to suit me and booked and ordered my kitchen promptly. No delays or long wait for my order my calls and emails got immediate response so there was no stress at all. An excellent service thank you!!

"Excellent Service and Value for Money"

I would highly recommend Lianne in the Long Mile Road branch. I am just thrilled with my new kitchen. Lianne expertly guided me through the process from A to Z. Her expertise was second to none and she made some superb suggestions which I am delighted I took on board. Lianne was very quick to respond to any queries. I found it good value for money.
I also have to give Alan the fitter a mention as he did a fantastic job.

"Avoid."

Avoid. (Kitchen World - Finglas)

Terrible experience. At one point I thought we were getting pranked. Kitchen Worlds incompetence, lack of after care, lack of communication, and the basic mistakes made by the initial ‘fitters’ was truly astonishing.
Before I get into it,I will say, that the lady we dealt with in the showroom was very good and at no time did they not agree that the work done was none other than substandard. However, it should have never gone past the 2nd visit. See fiasco timeline below.

It took 5 months, 5 broken worktops, 1 broken sink, and 5 separate visits from 2 separate fitters. First fitters (team of 2) made all the mistakes until a 2nd fitter was sent in October to finally rectify mistakes.

June 11th - Kitchen Delivered (Took over pretty much the whole downstairs of our house, which was fine as we had arranged a holiday to coincide with delivery and fitting, which was meant to happen the following day )

June 12th - Fitter was meant to turn up and fit kitchen, no show, no phone call or communication from him or show room despite numerous calls and messages from my end. I had arranged for someone to let them in so he was also put out.

June 12th - the person who dealt with us in the show room assured us the fitter would arrive Friday and finish on Saturday. Friday and Saturday came and went and no fitter arrived. I again had to contact kitchen world to see what the story was. At this stage we were finished our holiday and had to move in with a baby to my folks house as the kitchen and appliances took over the downstairs of the house.

June 17th - a team of 2 fitters arrive and finishes the kitchen within one day. From now onwards we dealt with one of those fitters.

June 18th - Upon closer inspection of the worktop we notice that one of the laminate worktops is cracked, which is suicide for a laminate. We immediately contact the rep assigned to us and they agrees that it needs replacing.

July 25th - it takes 3 weeks for the Replacement worktop to arrive and the same fitter came 2 days afterwards.

Monday Aug 5th – Countertop Issue No. 2 – The joint where the replacement worktop was fitted starts to bubble. I immediately notified Kitchen World. As you can imagine, this issue is starting to infuriate me.

14th – 21st August – Excuse after excuse as to why a new fitter and third counter top were not available in the coming days. Level of frustration hitting all time high.

Friday 23rd of August – Worktop no.3 delivered four days before next fit out, it was explained the previous two times that this is not acceptable as we have a 2 year old.

Tuesday 27th of August –The same fitter is sent out and arrives at 9am, only to leave again to get a specific kit/tool that he needed. He assures me he’ll be back by 6pm.

Tuesday 27th 6.30PM – The fitter arrives back and proceeds to install the third new worktop.
In an attempt to fit the replacement piece he cracks the perfectly fine piece of worktop he was meant to join it to. I was a bit shocked he would do this but I was trying to remain calm as he had excess worktop left over. At this stage its past 9pm and he’s using a saw and jigsaw out the back garden, not ideal when you live in a semi detached house and have a baby in bed and a heavily pregnant partner.

He finally finishes after 10pm. Through sheer exhaustion, and frustration we did not throughly inspect the worktop.

On proper inspection the following morning we found the following issues (to say he did a bad job is a compliment). 2 of the 3 worktops were very badly fitted.

1. Sealing on joint beside sink badly done.
2. Bad cuts with blunt blade / jigsaw or a spoon maybe?
3. Large crack on worktop (right hand side)
4. Chip / Crack on worktop fitted surrounding sink and filled in carelessly with silicon.
5. Cracked sink at tap.

After various back and forths we finally got a competent fitter out who replaced the worktops and sink and finally after 5 long months and many headaches we have a finished kitchen, but to be honest we’ll never look at it the same way and the shine is completely taken off it….

One more thing, the original fitters never screwed the water inlet pipe onto the dishwasher correctly causing it to leak for 2 weeks until I noticed it and fixed it..another basic basic error.

Never once were we offered any type of compensation from Kitchen World. As you can imagine, like everything this wasn’t cheap.
