We have just had a solid roof installed by Wetheralds. We looked into a number of providers and found Wetheralds to be the best value for money. At the start of the process the surveyor Paul talked us through the various options available and provided objective advice to help us reach a decision about what to do. There was no pressure and we were confident that we had made the right choice. When the work started, Luke and Jake arrived very promptly (having set off at 4.00am that morning!) and got straight down to work. The joiner arrived soon after and constructed the roof structure, having consulted us about the ideal solution for our rather unusual conservatory. By the end of the first day the roof had been made watertight. The joiner (sorry, I've forgotten his name), Luke, Jake and Dave the plasterer are all very skilled, hard-working craftsmen and they did a superb job. They were also very considerate, polite and friendly at all times. The finished product exceeds our highest expectations and it is quite clear that the new roof will have the insulating properties we were looking for. To summarise, everything about the process has been ideal and we can thoroughly recommend Wetheralds.

From meeting Mike for the costing and full review I would definitely recommend Wetherald for the work carried out. Slightly concerned on first delivery of materials when the roof tiles arrived as wrong choice! but rectified delivery next day. Andy & Lee worked tirelessly through the whole build with almost 12hrs grafting for 2 of the days. Very professional guys who even taught me the Yorkshire lingo.
The finished job has already shown us how much heat we were losing through the glazed roof thus decorating started and will enjoy using the room to full advantage very soon.

"We are very happy with the new roof on our existing conservatory."

We are very happy with the new roof on our conservatory. We have yet to upgrade the existing central heating radiator, but even with the old mini radiator in place the room is warm enough to be used in winter.

The team arrived on-site day 1 as planned, and the main conservatory roof was completed on day 6, just 1 day over the original estimate. No complaints there. The construction is really tidy and I have every confidence it will last for many years.

I only deduct 1 star, as we were also getting an external garage door and window replaced at the same time - in the end it took a fortnight and 3 attempts to get the correct size window. We got there in the end though!

Excellent service from start to finish. Very reliable company.
We had numerous quotes to replace our glass conservatory roof but Wetheralds were the only one to use a “Vapour Check Barrier” which we had been told by a builder was a Must.
They also used the LA building inspector ( we were told by other companies that building regs. were not needed as it was a “Grey area”). You don’t need grey areas if you ever come to sell your house in the future.
We must praise the installers Ashley and Dominic who worked very hard and also cleaned up after themselves everyday.
Tony the electrician and the plasterer were also very good.
The cleanest plasterer we have ever used.
They all did a superb job.
They weren’t the cheapest quote but they were not the most expensive either.
Our new Garden Room is now so warm we can hardly believe it.
We would recommend this company to anyone and we already have had friends expressing an interest.

"Wow what a great company and very competitive too"

Wetheralds were recommended to us by friend who had had their conservatory converted so we decided to give them a call and we are so pleased we did. The finished product is outstanding and the quality of the workmanship and materials is second to none. Our now defunct rather large conservatory has now been transformed into a beautiful garden room that we can use all year round and we are very proud of it

The fitters, Jason & James worked tirelessly and very long hours and battled through really bad weather to complete the job. Ok the job did overrun but hardly surprising really because our conservatory was not the easiest of jobs. Despite that you cannot fault their commitment. Tony the electrician also did a great job and even advised us of some safety issues with our house wiring which thankfully we have managed to get fixed. Glen the plaster has done an amazing professional job on the ceiling too. Thank you guys for everything you have done you were brilliant

Excellent workers who did a very good job converting our Conservatory into a Garden Room, totally satisfied with Weatheralds UNTIL .......

During a very heavy storm on the first day of October,we experienced a bout of extreme rain which, due to some faulty fitting during the building work of the guttering we had rain pouring through the ceiling which my wife and I managed to clear up with mops and buckets, just hours before we departed for a holiday

We rang Weatheralds to report the storm, and the damage, to report what had happened and that we would contact them immediately on our return. On doing this I asked when someone from Weatheralds would contact us and come and inspect the cause of the rain coming in. They said they would arrange an inspection of the guttering as soon as possible . We are still waiting some 6 weeks later until 'someone from the Company is on our area', but the guttering is still giving us problems

Think that one over, good workmanship but appalling after sales support
