WETHERALDS CONSERVATORY ROOFS

"WETHERALDS - BEWARE"
While Wetheralds update their website address, email and telephone address as of 01.06.20 I am being issued with documents from the adminstrators asking me to jump through hoops in order to get my £1900 deposit back, using paperwork that is jargon-heavy and not very 'usable' to the general public. Maybe this is part of the plot! Meanwhile, WETHERALDS continue to seek new custom through an active web and facebook page.
It appears on Companies House that Mark Pavis has 5/6 companies operating under the name of Wetheralds. Therefore I can only assume that this is clearly a way of moving money between companies (of a similar name) as and when it suits Mark Pavis. A Trust Pilot review will confirm that this is actually a thing!! Continue to take money for deposits under one trading name and then claim "voluntary liquidation".
Genuine hard-working people have lost their jobs in this pandemic. I have worked 48-50 hours a week for the NHS, communities have pulled together but WETHERALDS use it as an excuse to move money between his multiple companies. Diabolical!!!!
If of course, WETHERALDS would care to discuss why there is a very legitamte reason why I am a) not getting my work completed or b) being offered a full refund, I will gladly hear it.
23.07.20 - Despite "trying desperately hard to respond to all his customers" I still have not received a response to an email sent to Mark Pavis of Wetheralds raising several queries regarding the many faces of Wetheralds. I note from another review that he is still up to his tricks in JULY ... I have the liquidation papers and the maths just does not add up! Next stop Trading Standards and anyone else that will listen to me!!

"Disappointing standard of workmanship"
It pains me to have to give a poor review, but the lack of any response from Wetheralds to issues raised has been very disappointing.
Wetheralds came to fit our new roof on 9th March. Regardless of the fact that one of their fitters said that it was probably 'the largest roof he had worked on', they arrived at around mid day on the Monday and they were 'finished' and gone by Thursday evening.
It is not possible to achieve the 'high level of crafsmanship' that they purport to achieve within such a short space of time on a roof the size of ours. The poor standard of finish revealed itself once they had left, and numerous issues needed to be rectified during the next two months of lockdown, when it was not possible to contact them other than by e mail (which was sent, with no respose received).
Subsequent to thier returning to work, a registered letter was sent, with photos, highlighting several of the issues that had to be rectified by us (as there was no contact with Wetheralds during the lockdown) To date, there has been no response to that letter.

"Cant fault this company."
Cant fault this company.
Sometimes you read reviews and you think to yourself. "Who's written this? Surely its someone who works there, as they cant be that good"
Well people, they are!
Special mention to James, Dave, Dom (although a Man U Fan), Ash, Daz and Tony. All of them very professional and a credit to the company.
I wouldn't hesitate to employ them again.

"Initial Impression"
This may seem odd but I am not yet a customer, and still considering Wetheralds as a choice from four companies however, I was telephoned last week following my request for a call by Wetheralds Regional Surveyor Mike Green. Unfortunately we were not going to be available on the day suggested by Mike as he was going to be in our area but he accepted a date at our convenience thus having to make a specific journey. Mike arrived on time, was extremely knowledgeable and fully explained the for's and against various options. Rather than knock competitors he acknowledged that those we had contacted were all able to provide a good product but went into a lot of detail about Wetheralds systems, answered our questions fully, and inspired confidence in both himself and his company. We thank Mike who was extremely pleasant, not at all pushy and I think Mike can expect a call from us very shortly.

"Superb Job disappointing finish."
The two lads from Wetheralds Sean and Mark fitted a new tiled roof to my conservatory and done a super job in adverse conditions.
Highly recommend Wetheralds from office communication to job finish. One side of my house is only viewed by my neighbour, she noticed that the guttering from the conservatory and the house are not joined there is a gap of about 12 inches' bit disappointed that Wetheralds will not come and put it right.

"A first class service…"
Wetheralds provided us with a first class service, from our initial enquiry to the finished product
We are delighted with our new conservatory roof, which we know already that we will gain an all year round benefit from.
The initial erection team of James and Andy had to contend with horrendous weather conditions but had the old roof dismantled and the structural frame erected, boarded and waterproof in just over half a day. James and Andy completed the installation very efficiently apart from the ridge/hip tiles which it was too cold to shape and fit. Ash & Dom came to complete the roof 2 days later when the temperature had risen and Tony the electrician installed the lighting.
All members of the installation team worked extremely hard, were courteous and helpful with any queries we had - a true asset to the company.

"Good product."
The solution looks good and is a good standard. The visual impact of the ceiling height and space looks and feels very good. The external roof tiles and finish blend well with existing house structure. Wetheralds have managed the end-to-end process and have been proactive to ensure that all associated permissions and paperwork are cleared. The installation team were polite, worked hard, kept to schedule and cleared up as they worked.

"Since my roof was replaced in November…"
Since my roof was replaced in November 2019 I have had 3 leaks and they take weeks to come out,and it still is leaking, phone on a Monday and by Friday I have to phone them back only to be told it will be a week or two before they come.My advice is get a company local to do your roof, not someone who claims to be nationwide.
