2022, Petite Mise a jour depuis que je l'utilise vraiment :
Les remarques du début sont toujours valable ; le pliage et la tenu du vélo une fois pliée n'est pas optimale avec le recul et le cout du vélo je regrette un peu mon achat (aujourd'hui il y a moins cher et moins contraignant par rapport à ma situation); mon ascenseur étant très petit, en définitive je galère à le rentrer et le sortir car il est quand même un peu "imposant" et comme il roule pas une fois plié il est difficile a manipuler (12kg).
enfin je ne trouve pas de sacoche a adapter à l'arrière car il est très bas et les sacoches sont très longues...
Avis en 2020 :
Furo répond à toutes vos questions et sont facilement accessible par téléphone (Très bon point). Livraison rapide bien que retardée d’une semaine à cause du confinement. Quelques points méritent cependant d’être améliorés, à mon sens :
- Vélo livrée avec une notice très « légère » ; l’installation de certains accessoires n’est pas expliquée sur la notice (réfléchissant, bandes caoutchouc...)
- Vélo livré les pneus dégonflés et sans pompe
- Le vélo une fois replié et attaché avec "une bande velcro" ne tient pas bien en position fermée et n'est pas très stable. Malgré son poids il est difficile de le manipuler + risque de se tacher avec la chaine.
- La selle est très dure.
- J'ai du remplacer la pile des clignotants (bon point la pile de rechange était livrée avec) et je trouve qu'on a du mal à les arrêter (peut être ai-je raté une explication ?)
- les "suspensions" non adaptées aux voies cabossées avec trous, même en ville on rebondit pas mal..
Mais sinon je suis satisfaite de mon achat ^^

It would have been 5 star, but I had to chase twice for a delivery date and the bike was delivered in advance of the conformation of despatch by 2 hours?
The bike itself is Supa easy to put together using the tool's supplied and whilst it's early days works well.

"Overall I'm very pleased with my Furo-X"
I ordered my Furo-X in January with an estimated delivery for the end of Feb. It arrived in Mid-March after a few delays due to storms and other things beyond Furo's control. I did email several times to chase up and got quick responses but some more proactive customer updates might be useful in the future (it seems these are planned but may not be reaching everyone). On the whole though I was reasonably pleased with the customer experience and the staff seem really helpful.
The bike when it arrived was easy to put together and rides beautifully. While the fold isn't as small and neat as my Brompton it is a nicer ride which will help on the longer leg of my commute (assuming I ever get to go back to the office amid Covid-19 lockdown!). I'm quite tall and heavy but the bike fits me well with plenty of options to suit leg and arm length. It also feels nice and light to move with the whole thing coming in lighter than my converted Brompton even when the Brompton bag (With the heavy battery in it) is taken off. The power ranges are nicely judged with a good variation of assistance which combined with the wider range of gears that I am used to will make hilly rides much more bearable while still letting me do most of the work on the flats.
If I had any quibbles it is on the bike while folded. While the fold is easy to execute something to hold it closed would be useful (I have made a strap from webbing and clips that does the job) while carrying it. It also seems relatively unstable while folded and doesn't "stand" well. I'm going to have a play with that as it could well be a lack of experience with it but I will certainly need to sort it out before taking it on the train regularly. The last one (and this is a niggle) is that there isn't an obvious "handle" to carry the bike from. I may replace the seat with one from a Bromton which has an ergonomic grip under the front of the saddle but I will need to see if that helps the balance point.
Due to the lockdown I've not had much chance to ride it yet so I can't comment on the longer term ownership or the range but so far I am really impressed and look forward to using it much more in the future.

great communications with support, timely arrival and easy tracking of delivery. Control cable to battery was adrift on arrival but easily fixed. Maybe just add that as a FAQ.

Paid in advance for deferred delivery and secure discount; all that was fine other than UPS delivery delayed due to virus...NOT a Furo Systems problem and they followed up for me.
On first trial I had no power assist so called Furo Systems and received same day instructions as to how to re boot computer. Did that and then undertook a proper road test.
This is an excellent bit of kit! Highly recommended.The service has been superb throughout the process from asking questions, ordering, receipt and commissioning. Met all my expectations...

Bike great. Arrived without notice which was a bit odd. Bike is as good as it looks but go for the bigger battery upgrade. I did and it just adds more range and oomph. Lovely bit of kit.
