This is one of the worst companies I have every dealt with in my life. To start off I've had this loan with them since 2007, paid on the student loan for about 5 years and when my wife fell ill I was able to defer payments twice. When I reached out to the company to be proactive and see if there are any other hardship options every single lady in the office was very nasty and disrespectful. When I informed them of my situation, they had no issue telling me that it was not there problem and that they would get there money one way or not. I was informed that this is a private company and they do not have to abide by the same rules as other loan companies. While my wife was ill I was unable to make any payments and during that time, due to late fees and interest my loan amount almost doubled. Fast forward it is 2024 and I have made payments on time for more than a decade and no relief or assitance has been provided. I would like to warn any young adult to please look at all your options as this company has made my life diffcult for 17 years. I would not wish this on anyone and hope that you all find a better company to do business with. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
