"The company has made a difference in my…"

The company has made a difference in my life and so many others. But I wish the payment method weren't so on top on each other or let a customer service clerk call the participants a week before it is to be charged, to make a smooth transaction.

I don’t like the way I feel when taking this medication. It seems to make me feel bad like it’s affecting my mental health. I took it for 3 or 4 days and stopped for a week . When I started taking them again same feeling

"I think you guys have a great concept. BUT!"

I think you guys have a great concept here.
Getting Viagra was simple and straightforward. Thanks for that!
Only, I have to admit, I'm also let down so far when it comes to the professional Psychiatric expertise I was really hoping for (and really need). I explained my symptoms to Hims surrounding anxiety and depression, and other weird symptoms. After my own research now, it actually seems like I've been suffering from ADHD undiagnosed all my life. I'm not a psychiatric expert by any means, so we'll see, but Hims said Mild Depression, High Anxiety (whatever specific medical condition that is). But fair enough, I guess I don't expect a quick questionnaire to allow a psychiatrist to truly understand what I'm going through in-depth well enough without even "speaking" to them (oh wait, but what about your entire concept then!!? Just a thought). What was really disappointing was that I specified to Hims/ psychiatrist-appointed-by-Hims in great detail that I am highly sensitive to the side effect caused by certain antidepressants that is sexual numbness/ loss of sensitivity/ loss of libido (a side effect I am not willing to tolerate whatsoever). Only for Hims "psychiatrist" to prescribe me with Zoloft, unbeknownst to me at first - I completely trusted you - to be one one of the most commonly known antidepressant medications to cause exactly said side effect. I paid money for 3 months supply of a drug that I only took for 10 days then discontinued (and I'm pretty broke unfortunately at the moment). That's a big fat strikeout for Hims. Makes me think the psychiatrists you trust, and expect us to, are with Hims for the quick payout, not the serious consideration of patients' true conditions and specifications in order to really help them. Why else would an experienced Psychiatrist prescribe a medication extremely (and I mean extremely) well known in the medical community to cause a side effect that a patient specifically described in detail is a major problem for them? I know psychiatry is not an exact science, but I hope it's not a moronic science either. When it is a well known side effect of Zoloft (when you just even Google it!), why prescribe it to someone who specifies they can't handle one of the most common side effects it is known for??? Either the psychiatrists take a quick glance, not really reading in detail, and just quickly give their autograph to collect their money, or they're not really very good at what they do and are not trustworthy (so why trust Hims at all, despite all your well-budgeted, mildly amusing advertising???)
Now, I'm not saying I have lost faith entirely in Hims. But this is a disappointing start for what I thought could really help me, and I will share this with all friends that ask me about my experience with Hims (and fairly so - you think I'm a nobody, think again). I will be also be fair that I have have not judged Hims entirely yet and they deserve a second chance. I just hope they don't completely strike-out next time when it comes to the psychiatrists they trust to help people. I hope next time I will see that I can have faith in they're trusted experts to actually listen/ read what patients tell them, and not make, frankly, stupid trivial errors that professionals should not make that essentially waste the time and money of people with mental health conditions just trying to receive good, sound support from professionals that they at least hope truly care.
Thank you for your time, I appreciate you listening to my feedback. Again, I love your concept, I just have yet to trust your context. Will Hims reach out to me about my negative experience so far? We'll see, but I doubt it, like so many companies promising to help people, but really ultimately focused on gaining revenue through promotion/ perhaps false advertising???
I hope to hear from you, Hims, about my experience (all thought I doubt it, as they likely are a company at this point more concerned with the all-mighty dollar as they really are with helping to provide decent mental healthcare, which at least seems to be a pivotal point of their promise). I'll let you know if they do!

Best,
Colin
