A disappointment of epic scale.
Getting the key replacement was impossible, just a waste of time and energy.
Customer focus? - please don't make me laugh, no feedback just roadblocks and countless excuses.
Last email I sent was left without answer whatsoever. I hope this feedback will help someone to avoid similar situation.

"Zero Customer Service"

Wanted a set of the small rubber grommets/pads that the lid and handles sit on to avoid noisy metal to metal contact. Several emails later including requests for pictures of what I wanted (err, no, I don't have any that's why I want some from you !) and serial number of the box etc (not needed, they are a generic item used on all the range !), ended up with being told they don't stock them as spares. Why not ?!! You still use them on the current product lines, if you were bothered about customer service you would stock them or find a way to put a few in an envelope. Seems they can't be bothered and don't care. I've found something similar on ebay for a couple of quid, hopefully will be the right size. Customer service rating for the slow, multiple emails required, as well as the unsatisfactory result, zero, shame I have to give you at least one star above as it's not deserved !

Ordered a van vault stacker xl. Was showing in stock online, I rang to just confirm stock to be told there are 6 in stock. I ordered within 1 min. Had confirmation email, will be delivered in 2-3days, and money had come out of the bank. No van vault has arrived, I looked at my bank and the money has been refunded. Iv had no correspondence to inform me about my order being cancelled or delayed. Upon contacting them via phone, I was told they are out of stock and will be 8 weeks. Still awaiting email response regarding to see if its cancelled.

"Lock for van vault 2"

Contacted, them and told them i was looking for a new lock for a van vault 2 and they told me to buy this lock, didn’t have a single in stock so i had to buy the twin pack. lock didn’t turn up, contacted them again and lock was finally sent, no instructions on how to replace the lock, then found out the lock is to thick for this vault, contacted again and they just said send it back, asked if they had a lock that would fit and got told they don’t have them and i should try and buy one somewhere else. Not great.

Very disappointed with with Van Vault.
Neither locks would work and can't secure my tools. I sent a number of emails and phone calls, over a week later still no response. I requested a replacement or full refund, 10 days from purchase still no reply?
I believe Van Vault are now part of Toolstream Ltd. I will be going legal if I get no joy this week.
Bad experience and won't use Toolstream again.
