"Ski season in Quebec"

I travelled to quebec for 5 months on a working holiday working in hospitality and skiing in my spare time. I loved every minute over there. Oyster were very helpful in the process of getting everything sorted with visas and finding a job and things like that. It was all a very smooth process and would recommend.

"Elefant sanctuary project Thailand"

We, my 17 year old daughter and me just arrived in Bankok.
Because of covid, vaccination rules, the risk of going 5days in quarantäne, the preparation was more complicatet.
Georgie helped us a lot and answered our questions fast.
He organised the pick up from the airport, the PCR testing, the testing hotel, the transportation to the project. Tot now everything worked out well. 👍A big thank to Georgie.

Oyster Worldwide will exceed your highest expectations! They offer a wide variety of volunteer and adventure travel opportunities. My 14 year old son and I chose a project in South Africa to work at a rehabilitation center for baby monkeys and baboons. This was way out of our comfort zone. We had never done anything remotely similar to this before. And it was a long way from home (we are Americans).
Oyster Worldwide held my hand every step of the way. The level of communication was extraordinary. Truly I couldn't have asked for anything more. I had my own point of contact (Georgie)- not a nameless customer service telephone number or email. And he answered all my questions and reassured me that everything would go smoothly. And it did!! The documentation on My Oyster page, specific to MY project based on THEIR personal knowledge, was invaluable. Even a VERY detailed packing list! Georgie seemed personally invested in the success of my trip. And he was genuinely thrilled to hear of my fantastic experience upon my return. I will definitely use Oyster Worldwide again. They are simply the perfect travel-planning companion!

"Veterinary Project: the most amazing and fascinating time in South Africa"

I joined the Veterinary Project in South Africa for 3 weeks. During my trip trough Africa I had a few volunteering experiences, but this one was by far the best! I had an amazing time at the Game Reserve, could learn, see and do a lot with the vet. Especially the close encounters to the African wildlife was just breathtaking. Also the life as a Volunteer was great. It was never too much work with a lot of freetime, the Rangers were always more than motivated to teach and explain you interesting and fascinating things about animals and nature, the food was lovely and you get to know so many amazing people from all over the world. Our activities over the day were mostly Game Drives, Game Counting, Conservation work like Treechopping/planting or within the Veterinary Project working together with the vet (what was of course the best part). If someone is really interested in wildlife and conservation but also wanna learn more specific things in the Veterinary area (like anatomy and physiology of animals, darting animals for the application of medicaments or taking blood samples and much more) than this project is perfect.
So grateful that Oyster gave me this opportunity.

I used Oyster to book in my gap year to go to Portugal and the team there are absolutely amazing. Unfortunately due to covid I had to shift my trips around and the team was great at sorting that out within a few days and a special mention to Georgie who has been great at communicating everything to me. "The volunteer project at the bear sanctuary in Romania"

The volunteer project at the bear sanctuary in Romania was such an inspiring and enjoyable experience. The volunteer work felt worthwhile but the emphasis was very much upon enjoying finding out about the bears and having an enjoyable experience with our fellow volunteers. My daughter and I did this together ( she is late 20’s and I am 61) so it’s suitable for all ages , but moving around the sanctuary does involve a lot of walking and some quite steep hills . But as long as you are reasonably fit it’s suitable . We were also treated to some good accommodation right in the centre of Brasov which is a lovely city, loads of nice shops and restaurants and near to Dracula’s castle . The company treat you to a meal out on your first evening and a trip to the castle. Drivers collect you from the accommodation to go to the sanctuary each day . The bears stories will move you , without doubt and you will come away feeling enriched by the experience. A special mention for Razvan , the Oyster representative who organises and liaises with you during the trip. He is very helpful , accessible and ensures your safety at all times. I recommend this project highly to anyone who
loves bears .

"11 week ski"

I’m on an 11 week ski course in austria. The set up is brilliant and oyster have been so helpful with booking. Regular phone calls and emails makes it feel very personable. I have been well prepared for this trip and I look forward to future adventures with oyster.

"Fantastic First Class Service"

What a fantastic first class service from Oyster (special mention for Anne who has helped me from the very first moment of my enquiry). Everything booked with ease, then we had a pandemic but lots of updates throughout and although right now it’s not possible to do the trip we started out with I will defiantly be going back to these guys when we can travel again. Would recommend them without hesitation. It’s all very well getting it right when everything is OK but Oyster has shown they can come up trumps through the hard times too - thanks Anne and team!
