just read the other comments on this page and this company seem to make a habit out of taking orders they cannot fulfil
I also ordered Dubarry boots from the website which were in stock. Next day I received an email saying they weren't actually in stock would i like a different pair? Eh no! if I had wanted a different pair I would have ordered them in the first place!
I asked for a refund and said i was disappointed that they took my order knowing they could not fulfil it.
The refund took a week but in that time I was in contact with helpful staff who apologised for the inconvenience.
They even sent me a nice gift to compensate for the hassle!
Next time I would contact first to check they actually have the product before I place my order

"Redeemed - Poor attitude and customer service"
I placed an order online for Dubarry boots for my wife's birthday, 3 days later I was informed they were not in stock and wouldn't be for another 2 weeks, even though the website stated they were in stock and was able to place order. I decided to go elsewhere and asked for refund and confirmation of this. I checked with my Credit Card Company, no advance refund showing after 6 days later. I phoned to ask if this had been done, was advised to email again to the sales advisor, still no response. I finally emailed to say that I would raise a dispute. Finally got a reply confirming refund, but quite rude and abrupt. Poor customer service and consequently attitude when asked simply for a response and confirmation of refund.
*Further to this post I received a call from the Sales Manager, who apologised for the 'miss communication' and I have now received my refund. Whilst my review stated the circumstances their apology has altered my view of their service. Therefore in the interests of fairness I have altered my rating. Clearly I cannot comment on such as delivery and items, so my rating has improved on the service only.*

Needed a 60th birthday present for my dad during covid19. I wasn’t sure if they’d be trading so I emailed to enquire. I got a quick and friendly reply and after several emails back and forth I managed to get the shoes I was looking for in his size. They came ahead of schedule and dad loves his new shoes. Can recommend Robinson’s 100% and will be using them again in the future

Excellent selection of products both online and in-store. Customer service is second to none - I had a full fitting experience, which was completely free of charge and there was no obligation to buy. Following this, I couldn't resist a pair of Barker boots. They fit really well and the quality is fantastic. I would definitely recommend and will be shopping here again!

Awful experience, never again. Still waiting for my refund two weeks after cancelling my order and customer service ignoring my emails. Terrible

"Excellent mail order experience, quality shoes, good price"
My experience was excellent. Having read some negative reviews, I emailed one evening before ordering to check the shoes were in stock. They replied the next morning to confirm. The delivery service was tracked and only took a couple days. I am very happy with my Cheaney Arthur brogues and I was lucky to get them at a good discount. I have 3 pairs of Cheaneys in the 125 last, which fits me well. I also got some free wooden shoe trees, although they're not finished as well as Songmics or Cathcart Elliot trees. I can't complain if it's free though and they're keeping my quality shoes in good condition. I'd order from Robinsons shoes again. I wonder if they update me if the 125 last goes on sale again?

Had issues with my order and once esculated to manager was able to work it out. Was even given a discount.

"nice shoes, unacceptable service"
It took them a week to let me know that the shoes that I ordered are out of stock, so I asked them to cancel my order & refund. To get my money back it took two more emails & one phone call over three weeks. Unacceptable.

Just got a fantastic looking pair of Barker brogues from Robinson's today. They are so comfortable and look so great that I couldn't bring myself to take them off. Still wearing them. Great friendly customer service and price. They are my second pair from Robinson's (other pair are Barker Derbys) and I will definitely be back for more.
