"Brilliant all round"

They had an excellent selection of cars in the showroom. The person who looked after us was John Ledwold who arranged a test drive, answer all our questions resulting in purchasing a car.
Also there was a young lad being trained I think his name was Jake was also very good
Would definitely recommend going to Sandal Wakefield if you want a BMW.

"Amazing Service"

I recently purchased a new BMW from Sandal Motors, and I can't express how thrilled I am with the entire experience. From the moment I walked into the showroom, Louis Cosgrave, my sales executive, made sure I felt valued and well-informed.

The sales process was not only efficient but also incredibly transparent. Louis took the time to understand my preferences and needs, ensuring I found the perfect BMW that suited my lifestyle. His product knowledge was impressive, and he patiently answered all my questions, making me feel confident in my decision.

What truly stood out was the exceptional communication throughout the entire process. Louis kept me informed at every step, providing updates on my order and delivery timeline. I never once felt in the dark or uncertain about what was happening.
I would also like to thank Rob Noble (Retail Manager), for assisting me with some of the aftermarket options, very professional, with no pushy sales tactics. The team at Sandal are all fantastic.

The handover of my new vehicle was nothing short of seamless. Louis walked me through all the features and settings, ensuring I left the dealership fully confident in operating my BMW. My wife and I both felt like VIPS.

I can confidently say that Louis Cosgrave and the team at Sandal Motors have set the platinum standard for customer service. If you're in the market for a BMW I highly recommend Sandal Motors and, specifically, Louis Cosgrave for a top-notch buying experience. It's rare to find such professionalism and dedication, and I'm giving them a well-deserved 5-star rating.

"DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY"

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY - THEY DONT DESERVE TO HAVE THE BMW BADGE OVER THERE DOORS!! As a customer and even an ex employee i can tell you from both sides of the fence they are terrible, they have no morals what so ever. Brought my wifes car in as an employee to have new front wheel bearings, i supplied the parts all they needed to do was fit them very simple stuff. They then snapped my locking wheel nut key, hacked off my wheel damaging the wheel and hub, spent so long doing it they only managed to complete half the job. It cost me for a new wheel, new hub, new locking wheel nut set and i had to pay someone else to remove the rest of the locking wheel nuts as they broke the key.
I left the business couple of weeks later (after realising its not a place i want to be associated with) only to be sent a court letter demanding the labour for the complete job (which they only completed 25% off) and parts (which i paid for and supplied myself). It cost be in total £945 to get 2x wheel bearings done elsewhere simply because of the shoddy work they done in the first place.

Please please this is an original review dont ignore it, there are plenty of BMW dealerships in the country who can offer a far better service - dont use this one.

Very expensive oil change at Sandal Wakefield BMW
I took my car for an oil service on the 29/06/23, before a planned trip to France and came back with an oil sump pan stripped threads and oil leak. Replacement pan is around £1117.43, just paid around £120 for Heli Coil repair instead of a replacement pan.
This is not what I was expecting from skilled technicians trained to BMW’s latest manufacturer standards. BMW Sandal are blaming it on the previous dealer overtightening the bolt, although the video of “Vehicle Health Check” from Sandal BMW did not show any issues with my car.
Probably they put an apprentice/work experience person on the job who cross tightened the bolt and stripped the oil sump pan threads. I would like Sandal to stop blaming the previous BMW dealer and pay for the damage they caused to the oil sump, as my car had no issue at all when I left it at their premises.
(N.B my car went in the workshop with no sign of a defective oil sump pan or drain plug bolt and was serviced 2 years ago)

"Awful after sales customer service - AVOID!!"

Purchased my wife's BMW X1 around Sept 2022 - ex demo model. Good experience when they were trying to get the sale! June 2023 and we spotted that oil was leaking onto our driveway. Took to BMW Williams in Liverpool (local dealership), and they reported back that the Sump Plug had not been connected correctly (by Sandals). Advised that this would not be covered by warranty and then contacted Sandal, whose service manager was totally dismissive and refused to cover the cost, despite being down to their 'shoddy workmanship'. Ultimately dealt with BMW Head Office and between them and Williams Liverpool, the issue was sorted to our satisfaction. Motto of the story - avoid Sandal BMW if you can - only given them 1 star as there was no option to give zero!!

"Complete farce"

Complete farce. Booked MOT and service. Had to wait 6 weeks for the appointment. Dropped car off at 8 am as requested, Advised staff, I was walking around Wakefield until car was ready. 5 hours later I discover they have no start time for the 2 and a half hour work. Do I believe that a male customer would be treated the same? Obviously I should have picked a cheaper and better garage. No I don't recomment this garage.

"Super Service, Helpful and Friendly!"

Just wanted to say thank you to Paul, Ikhlas and Jacob at BMW Sandal Wakefield. Ikhlas and Paul dealt with my car sale (a BMW 330e) and Jacob, their technical genius assisted with a test drive of the vehicle and answered my technical questions in a quick, friendly, easy to understand manner.

Paul and Iklhas were very friendly and super helpful, Ikhlas even sent me a walk around video of the car before we drove up to see it, really helpful and just fantastic service. Would highly recommend (10/10)

"Avoid"

We bought from Sandal Auto last year. Car was apparently serviced and MOTd before delivery. The car arrived with a check engine light on which we were able to sort through the warranty. Thank goodness for the warranty. One month later, light is on again. Dealt with that (currently waiting on warranty company reimbursing). Two days later, engine light is back on.

Our garage asked who had serviced the car for us as they'd left the air filter disconnected and there were a stream of other issues with the car. They also said the warranty company Sandal use are the most difficult they have ever dealt with.

Not even a year on and we're going to have to sell the car as it's just one issue after another.

All they want is a sale and the garage checking the sale card over are doing a substandard job. Avoid at all costs.
