Be careful!
I invested a significant amount of money to get my plant planted by the experts at Plantdrop. This meant paying extra for a self watering pot, inhouse planting and a plant that they recommended. Unfortunately, despite paying for all these precautions and following advice, the palm started to deteriorate significantly within six weeks. I kept email feedback and photos and asking for help. At first they offered to come to my house to inspect for a cost of £75 in addition to the £300+ I had already spent, which sounded like potentially throwing good money after bad. I moved the plant, sent photos over on a regular basis until they stopped responding altogether. Less than six months later, I am left with an (albeit lovely) pot to show for this expensive experience and a very bad taste in my mouth. If you are a beginner with plants, like me, I would recommend a more customer friendly, goodwill oriented company, sadly unlike this one.

I recently ordered from Plant Drop and have mixed feelings about the experience. The delivery was fast and the plant arrived in excellent condition, just as I had hoped. However, the packaging seemed excessive and quite a nuisance to dispose of, especially if you live in a flat. On a positive note, the customer service was impressive, working closely with me to meet my needs. Overall, a bit of a mixed bag but a decent experience.
