We changed our home/vehicle insurance after being with another carrier for over 25 years. While the switch led to some concerns, Acuity's frequent emails and excellent mail information about their services, ways to reduce the potential for having to file claims and clear instructions on how to file a claim if needed, helped to allay these concerns.
When we did have to file a claim to address a small windshield issue, the Acuity agent we worked with helped facilitated the claims process and later checked back to ensure the repairs met our expectations. We no longer have concerns about having changed agencies.

Last year I hit a deer which caused considerable damage to my vehicle. Initially an insurance adjuster was not assigned and my vehicle was not properly repaired causing great anxiety and having me seeking another body. Supposedly there was an adjustor for the second bodyshop. The body shop did not really have a clear bill for me , because some reason or other the owner had difficulty making one. There were two supplementals done and I was made aware of only one. It was only after several calls and texts did I find out there was a second supplemental the body shop got. If I wanted my car back I paid what I thought I owed. Since I had paid with my credit card I was able to dispute part of the charges and got money back. The insurance adjuster should have checked my vehicle for proper repair. All broken parts were replaced, but the paint job and adjustment of hood could have been better. The insurance adjuster should be present when owner picks up vehicle, so as everything is in order. Also I should of been informed there was a second supplemental paid to body shop

In early 2024 we experienced damage to our vehicle caused by flying debris on an interstate. Jessica, the Acuity claims rep., talked us through the entire process until our car was fixed. At each stage the service and responsiveness was there. For a bad situation Acuity coverage and service got us through.
