Vayama its the worse website to buy tickets first of all they don't have a 24 hours for you to cancel any reservation they charge 100 dollars if you want to change anything even if it is with in hours , they never pick up the phone everything is done true email and they really stuck im very desapoint I bought 2 ticket for international travel 4 hours later I realize I had the wrong return day i call no one picked up sent a email they said is up to the airline to get a refund i had no choices customer services its horrible 😡

"Terrible crooks"
Terrible crooks! Bunch of crooks who do whatever they want and totally ignore all customers! They ignored all email and phone communication for the past 4 months! Instead of issuing the refund they were supposed to issue, they sent a silly voucher instead, and ignored all communication insisting on the refund due.
Essentially they just stole the money and ran away! Stay away and never use this company! They do not deserve to be in business at all!

This is a horrible company!! DO NOT USE!!!! It’s impossible to get them by phone or email. On their site, they allow an option of booking “premium service” which they state allows you to change your plans. It does not. It has taken me 4 days of continuous hours of letting their phone ring until someone finally answers. When they do, they are very rude and offer no solutions to emergency medical problems forcing us to rebook. Just keep saying non- refundable.

If I Could a Give Vayama ZERO Stars .... like many of you, my Int’l flights were Ultimately cancelled by the airline because of Covid. Prior to my scheduled departure date, I had been calling and emailing Vayama and they just weren’t answering or responding. So I called the airline and was (correctly) told that Vayama was the only one who could make changes or get a refund. Vayama NEVER contacted me, they NEVER contacted the airline for my refund, and flat out LIED in response to my Better Business Bureau complaint. Luckily, I purchased the tickets on a credit Card and contested it with the bank. Vayama lied to the bank as well, saying that it was MY DUTY to contact the airline.
My advice to you, 1). Don’t be tempted next time to buy through an outside of the USA virtual travel agency, just to save +/- $100, 2). If you do, make sure you keep a transaction contact log including conversations, dates, times, and names. 3). For your protection, and to retain your dispute rights, ALWAYS use a credit card, NEVER a debit card. 4). Keep copies of all emails, save copies of screen shots. Vayama underhandedly disabled the “send copy of email to myself” feature from their website, so unless you save a screen shot, you have no record and they will NEVER respond.
In short, buy the ticket directly from the airline, or from a more reliable travel agent that is based here in the USA and who will actually answer the phone when you get stranded someplace, or if you need follow-up with your booking.

"I purchased International tickets and…"
I purchased International tickets and they were cancelled due to COVID-19 on April 4. I've been told they have to wait for refund from airline and the airline will issue a check . Airline says refund should come from Vayama. I have just spent a total of 1.5 hours on hold with Vayama to be disconnected three times. It sounds like they pick up and then hang up. I'm filing a claim with my credit card company and a complaint with the DOT.

"SLOW but AT LEAST there is a response"
I bought tickets from this vendor and the airline cancelled my flights due to Covid 19. The flight was early June and the cancellation notice from Vayama was sent in April. I am told that the refund will be made with no specific timeline. I haven't seen any credit for 2 months but at least it is a promise in writing that I will be refunded. It's still better than other vendor, trust me.
My flight is a round trip int'l flights from the USA so by laws the airline MUST fully refund me. Travel voucher is not acceptable and in fact is illegal.
I give Vayama a 2 stars because while no actual refund is received, Vayama at least made an effort to inform me. I started credit card dispute to expedite my refund. Let's the powerful credit card companies deal with them. AMEX Platinum will crash them. You should do the same if you are fed up with those vendors during the pandemic. Why wait for their mercy when you are a deserving customer in this case. Call your credit card company to initiate a dispute today. Remember, once the credit card company (Visa/Master/AMEX/Discovery..) contacts Vayama on dispute, there is a deadline to solve. Vayama is not staffed to handle claims with credit card companies so if every single customer affected by Covid starts the dispute. So let's do it all together in a massive wave. If Vayama fails to get back to credit card company within a month or so (or whatever the deadline is), you are FULLY REFUNDED. Know your right and execute it.
UPDATE June 25: I was fully credited by my credit card company after over a week of faxing the filled-out dispute form.

KAYAK(VAYAMA)を通じて購入したチケットが、COVID-19で飛行停止となってしまいました。
航空会社に問い合わせたところ返金は代理店を通じて受けてくださいとのこと、メールで返金を依頼しても返事がなかなか来ないのでしびれを切らして電話をしたところ、25分ほど待たされて繋がったのはおそらくインドあたりの外注コールセンターでやや埒が明かない対応。
「航空会社から代理店へ返金したという証明を出してもらってそれを確認したら返金処理に入る」という対応でした。すでにメールで航空会社のCOVID-19の返金ポリシーなどは伝えてあるのに、返金の確認は代理店の業務範疇だろう。COVID-19でどこも大変なのはわかるが、こういう時こそ顧客対応の質が問われる。
検索しやすい、価格も安いということでこれまで愛用してきたサービスだったが、返金などが生じる特殊な事例には顧客対応が悪いので注意すべき。英語ができない人はオススメできない。
I asked refund my ticket which was suspended due to COVID-19 pandemic. But email reply was not follow up my request, so, I made a phone call and waited for half hour to connect out sourced call center. The call center operator said I must get evidence of airline refund to the agent. Is it my duty???
I already shared the refund policy of Air Tanzania that they will not put any penalty or charge for canceling air ticket due to COVID-19 on email.
Generally KAYAK, VAYAMA service was good UI and easy to find good price ticket, so, that why I use their service, but this kind of unusual situation which is not listed on FAQ are very complicate and slow response.
I understand there are tough challenge in tourism industry all over the world at this moment, but the customer support in emergency situation is very important for customer sutisfuction.

"Zero stars"
I am really not sure how this company is still in business. My flight to India was cancelled by Qatar Airways and my full ticket price has been refunded 2.5 months ago but Vayama has continued to lie that they are waiting for Qatar Airways to process a refund despite me forwarding my email communication with Qatar Airways. Finally I opened a dispute with my Credit card company and now it’s please send us the charge back withdraw letter and we will respond to you. What kind of a company does business like this? I responded back to them saying it’s upto them if they refund or not but am not withdrawing anything. If Qatar Airways has refunded I don’t see why Vayama can’t credit back the amount to my credit card unless they don’t plan to. Zero stars. I would never buy a ticket through Kayak- Vayama ever again.
