"Be aware of poor customer service"
On my recommendation my daughter and son in law ordered a sofa and love seat from The Lounge Co.
What an absolute disaster this has turned out to be.
The sofa arrived and is a good quality item of furniture as expected. The trouble began when the love seat failed to arrive. It had been lost by the carrier. After a few weeks of very poor customer service my daughter was advised that the love seat would have to be remade. This meant another wait of several weeks. We were a little concerned about the possibility of the material being from a different batch and therefore a possible colour difference but were assured this would not be the case.
After a long wait the love chair arrived. The worry about the material was unfounded but the legs were a completely different colour and size to the sofa and were very badly fitted.
My daughter has now been advised there will be another 4 week wait for the appropriate legs to arrive.
Customer service has been very poor and having asked for some form of compensation the offer of the refund of the £60 delivery charge as a good will gesture for all of this anxiety and stress and the ridiculously long wait for the furniture was frankly insulting.
I honestly expected better of The Lounge Co.
