i HAVE NOW FILED TO THE CIVIL COURT FOR BREACH OF POLICY, NON PAYMENT OF DEATH CLAIM, AND STRESS AND DEBT WHICH I HAVE BEEN PLACE IN WITH THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY, I HAVE PHONED CONSTANLY, THE STAFF IN THE CALL CENTRES ARE HOPELESS, ALL FORMS HAVE BEEN SENT IN AND SIGNED BY MYSELF AND THE VETS. THIS COMPANY HAS MADE MY BEAUTIFUL GIRLS PASSING EVEN MORE STRESSFUL, EVERY PAYMENT OWED HAS BEEN A BATTLE TO GET BACK
AND SOME GUY WILL AGAIN REPLY TO THIS REVIEW WITH OH PHONE US AGAIN!
NO, COURT WE ARE SUEING
IN OVER 30YRS OF HAVE PETS AND INSURANCE THIS COMPANY IS THE WORSE

"Completely awful experience"
Completely awful experience. Had completed almost a full year with them for my cat and unfortunately she just needed a check up for a UTI.
It's taken months for them to process the claim.
Asking for evidence I've provided TWICE and them just cancelling the claim.
I tried to call them and the phone keeps cutting out. Will try again as its probably a connection issue.
But I have provided the evidence and yet they have failed to pay for the claim.
They also renewed my insurance which I WILL be cancelling and going elsewhere as this is shocking. As the vets seem to think we are avoiding paying and it's causing unnecessary stress as I am a university student and disabled I shouldn't be dealing with this as that's why I GOT the insurance to avoid unnecessary stress and worry about payment!

"6 Weeks for a Claim to Process !"
Signed up based on good reviews - had to submit a claim (the vets submitted the form) - no notification that my claim is in progress, no online portal to view status - when I chased I was told it would take 4 weeks to process my claim ! Not the 10 days it says on the website.
Update 05/09 - Complained to Healthy Pets - turns out they are a "Broker" and not the actual insurance company...so they have passed the complaint onto the "Insurer"...who have 8 weeks to reply......still no confirmation of if \ when the claim will be settled....
Another Update - 16/09 - I do apologise on behalf of the claims department who are currently experiencing a massive delay/backlog and are working hard to make their way through with claims.
I have contacted our claims department who have advised your claim is currently waiting to be seen by an assessor, claims are currently taking around 25 - 30 working days.
Walk away now - I will be!

"Awful experience"
Awful! Don’t respond to emails make you wait weeks to months to approve a claim! If you are wanting an insurance company to help you financially when going through an awful experience with a pet do not touch this company. Still waiting and still no response to me chasing emails, they make the whole experience worse.

"Remaining insurance deducted when pet dies."
We were with healthy pets from the moment we got our beloved cat Blobsnark. We paid monthly for the insurance and she passed away recently which meant we unfortunately had to claim for the short illnesses leading up to her passing.
We previously made a claim and that went relatively smoothly even though it took a long time to pay out however this time they kept moving the goal posts for payout. At first claims were taking 10 days, then 20, then 25, then 30. We were in financial difficulty as a result of this.
I think it is truly horrible that they take the remaining payments for the year off of the claim settlement. Our pet is dead, she doesn’t need insuring anymore because she isn’t here. Why are we having to pay out for insurance she cannot use? This has made an already really difficult time a lot harder.
She was very young and we loved her very much. This time should be treated with much more care by your agents than it has been and we are really unhappy.

"Awful Customer Experience"
I don’t know what has happened to this company. We were so impressed by them 2 years ago when they dealt with our claim efficiently and promptly and their telephone staff were kind and friendly - all as advertised They are taking 30 days or more to process claims now. The woman I spoke to about our claim was intransigent, robotic and clearly couldn’t care less about the health of our pet. I asked to speak to a supervisor but she continually refused to escalate my enquiry and told me it would be up to three days to get a call back. After all of the needless refusal to deal with our problem I told them I was going to complain to the ombudsman. In response they expedited and paid my claim. Our pet can now continue with her treatment but we felt very let down by the customer service we received. Something has happened here - new owners probably.
