"Birthday Weekend Trip to Denver "

My husband and I had a great time on our recent pack-and-go trip! I couldn’t resist checking TikToks the day before, and it seemed like Denver was a popular destination — and sure enough, that's exactly where we were sent!

A word of advice: when planning a pack-and-go trip, be very specific about where you’ve already been and where you’d rather not go. This will help tailor the experience to places you’re excited about. We could have been more detailed with our packing list, too; the forecast initially showed 81 degrees but dropped to 61, so we definitely could have used a coat.

The trip came with an Uber credit, which was helpful, though it would have been nice to get a bit more guidance on why Uber works best in Denver. We took a food tour on Day 2, but I think having it on Day 1 would’ve given us a better feel for the city right from the start.

All in all, it was a cool experience! If we do it again, we'll make sure to be extra specific in our preferences and requests.

I recommend emailing them additional information about yourself, and preferences that are above and beyond the original sign-up survey.

They can dial everything in for a truly customized trip. Doing so results in the most stress-free vacation one could ever have, along with the best the area has to offer.

There's something to be said for having everything, amenities, things you don't even think of, and anything that comes up taken care of.

The bonus of a provided recommendation list of things to do and places to eat was the icing on the cake.

The only time we regretted doing something was when we deviated from the suggestions list. It only took us one time to learn our lesson.

We plan on going on another trip with the assistance of Pack Up Go as soon as possible.

"16th Anniversary surprise."

Thank you for making my 16th wedding anniversary memorable. Portland, ME was awesome. We would have never sought out this location, but will definitely revisit another time. The top floor hotel room was great! The dinner reservations made were at great restaurants. The food tour was awesome and we truly didn't want to leave. Having everything so close and not having to drive everyone was just what we needed.

We enjoyed our trip to Chicago. I love the idea of a surprise vacation cultivated using my specifications. My daughter had used your services about 9 months ago and raved about her experience, so I decided to do the next trip with her. She found some discrepancies, which she will discuss in her review. I waited to find out where I was going while on the way to the airport, so I used the general guidelines for packing my bag. On the way home I had to open the extension zipper, which was still within the average height requirement, but the airline would not allow it onboard in the overhead compartment unless the extension was closed. Other suitcases in the overhead were naturally taller or as tall as my extended bag. So, knowing the airline being used ahead of time and their specific guidelines would be helpful. We thought our hotel was all paid for in our cost for our trip, but there was an extra $34 per day charge for “amenities” that we had to pay extra. The amenities were a conference room and a gym. With the amount of walking in sightseeing while there, we got our own workout. Neither amenity benefitted us. They did offer a $10 per day credit you could use either in their restaurant or “store”, so we each got an RXBar each day for $8 of the $10. It was use it or lose it. The hotel was clean and we were on the top floor, so we had a beautiful view of the cityscape, especially at night. All of the activities that were planned for us were great, and were covered by our fee. It was raining and cold on the day our Riverwalk Tour was to take place, so the tour guide offered a modified tour, showing us through many of the iconic and showcase buildings of the city and was very knowledgeable regarding history. We spent most of one delightful day on a food tour, and came away with very full stomachs and a lot more very interesting history in our heads. Our other covered activity was a day at the Art Museum. So much to see and discover there! We were there most of the day, and could have spent several more hours if we didn’t mind missing our dinner reservation. We ended up canceling a couple of our dinner reservations because of our days running later than expected or that we ended up full from our food tour or had eaten a later lunch. None of our meals were covered by the cost of our trip, and we’d have liked to have had at least one nice meal out in the evening that we had already had paid for in advance. A hotel with a breakfast included would have helped financially, also. We ended up with a $12 voucher for Uber, which wouldn’t get us very far! Thankfully, while leaving the airport, we discovered the public transportation system in Chicago, which was fantastic! We each bought a 3 day pass for $15, and were able to get most everywhere riding the subway or bus, or on foot. We did go to see the Robie House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, on our last day in town, before heading to the airport. We love his designs, and were not disappointed. This was an activity that we added, so it was not covered by our fee. We bought a train ticket that day to get us to and from, as it sat a little further out from the Loop. All and all, we did enjoy our trip, especially spending time together in a new-to-us place. For the price that we paid, we did expect a little more to be included in the fee charged (based on my daughter’s first experience). My daughter had a voucher which brought our cost down from what it would have cost originally, and we split that amount between us. Included was our hotel room for 4 nights(but not the amenity fee), airfare (direct from Pittsburgh, coach), $12 voucher for Uber, and tickets for the art museum, walking history tour, and walking food tour. Would I recommend it to others? I still love the concept! I would just advise them to come ready to pay for all of their meals, transportation, and anything extra.

My daughter and I visited Denver. Everything was amazing! The flight was easy. The hotel was centrally located and had outstanding amenities. It was nice to have dinner reservations, and the walking tour was helpful in helping us decide how to spend our time. We will definitely Pack Up and Go again.

Was very surprised to have to pay $35 per night “destination fee” to the hotel.. we knew nothing about that.

Food tour and guide were amazing.

We are not clear where all the money was spent however as one dinner, food tour, harbor tour, tour of the Old North Church as well as hotel and air were paid.

The activities planned for us really catered to our interests. Though we’d been to the vacation location in the past, this trip introduced us to so many fun excursions that we’d never considered. Such a wonderful vacation!
