"Poor quality and unsatisfactory customer service "
I bought my husband a quite expensive suit and matching trousers along with a few shirts to congratulate him on his new job in January 2023. He barely stepped into the office, as he works remotely 80% of the time and took paternity leave, so he had only worn the trousers twice since the purchase.
The third time he tried to wear the trousers, he noticed the fabric was so thin that with just normal movement, the crotch area fell apart. He reached out to Hawes and Curtis immediately, but their customer team responded that there was nothing they could do since it was purchased a year ago.
Considering the price and the reputation of this brand, I expected at least subpar quality. However, I was shocked at how quickly the trousers deteriorated and how poorly the customer service team handled our report, offering no constructive solution or remedy.

"Very poor quality shirts "
I sent a detailed email regarding the poor quality of the items received. Your shirts were always of a very good quality. Unfortunately that quality just isn't there now. I raised this with 'customer service' and received no valid response. Just 'i'll pass it on'. They couldn't care less.

"Dreadful service"
Dreadful service! I've only worn and washed this dress 3 times and the seam has already come undone. Responses have suggested I should have spotted fault within 5 day or not washed the garment. I've previously purchased 11 Finery items over the last year or so and had no issues until now. This puts me right off buying directly from Finery in future.

"Terrible customer service and products aren't great"
Terrible customer service. I tried to return some items on my order by arranging collection and all 3 times the item wasn't collected due to issues with the label which I did not receive for printing and was told Royal Mail will bring it but they didn't. I contacted H&C and they said there's nothing they can do and they cancelled the return without asking me. The shirts I ordered were also made of nylon like synthetic material despite being described as cotton. They were also extremely undersized. Would not order again.

"get more up to date for ordering"
get more up to date for ordering, not all sizes in store, that's fine, but couldn't order into store missing sizes, told to go on line, but not all available there either, and could back order/pre order, and to get all four sizes we would have had to go to stores throughout London. we couldn't even pay for delivery from these stores. staff very good, process lets the whole company down. M&S got the business, and subsequentially, the add ons, four suits and shoes.

"Sizing too small "
I’m 6’1” tall, broad shoulders, 50+” chest and44” waist.
Although I haven’t bought your knitwear, the sizes fall short on sizing which is too small, typical of way too many vendors of knitwear.
If these could be stocked in the future, then my rating hopefully goes up to 5 stars.

Trousers fell apart after month of wearing them not impressed with the quality and disappointed with my purchase.

"Woven silk ties - snagging after just a few weeks"
Bought three woven silk ties in January and two of them now have snags (in normal wear). Was advised by Customer Service that its "an issue of pilling and not a manufacturing fault" and to buy a "pilling brush" - and would then have to sort out the problem myself. I sent them pix of the problem and it doesn't seem to be pilling - but in any case it suggests that the ties aren't particularly well made.

"55 BISHOPSGATE OUTSTANDING SERVICE...."
The store at 55 BISHOPSGATE staffer Aymanh 10/10. I have purchased suits all around the world and have had suits made bespoke but this staff member was one of the best I have had the pleasure to meet.
I will definitely be utilising his knowledgable services again as he made "Off the Peg" feel like "Bespoke"
