Online flighttrotters advertised a flight from Edmonton to Paris for $1001.01. So I booked online and I received an email that looked like my booking, however in small print they stated this was still being processed by the airline. I called them the next day they said to wait 48 hours so I did. I called 3 days later still no resolution, no booking confirmation from the airline. I had my husband call too and still nothing finally I asked for a reversal of the charges on my MC stated it would take 4-5 days. I looked online and they were offering the same flight for 959.00 and told me that the 1001.01 could not be booked instead tried to get me to buy a ticket for 1359.00. I have booked many times online and never had an issue with all the other companies. So what this company does is shows the lowest price online compared to all the other companies online and then doesn't fulfill that price, they send you a schedule of your flight so that it looks like you have the documents to fly and you think everything is great because they processed your payment...they don’t want you to read the one liner that states your flight is being processed by the airline, so that when you get close to your flight date and have no ticket they can provide a very inflated price to you. This company has disgusting tactics. P.S. Flighttrotters requested my information from here and I provided it, however no one contacted me. This is not a competitor, I am an individual and I provided my address, I work for the government and have no interest in selling airline tickets especially the way these guys try too. I feel maybe this is not enough and that this incident should be reported to the better business bureau. I am just trying to help others before they get trapped.
