"I would have put less than one but…"

I would have put less than one but there is no provision. PLEASE DO NOT EVER SIGN UP WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS. We moved a year ago from our place of residence and they are still billing us. I have called/emailed at least 20 times with the same crappy answer. We will solve this for you asap. NEVER HAPPENS. Anyone that has had this same experience should join me in a class action law suit against them for the thousands of dollars we have been scammed out of. I even changed my Visa card and don’t ask me why but they are still taking money out of my Visa.

"Scam and Liars"

This Company is a Scam they lie to you about how long your contact is with them they will also lie to you and say your security company “switched” over to them when it’s not true!! they told us our payments would low and that they would take care of ADT payments and stated we are only signed on with them for 2 years when found out they taken out more then 1 payment and left us to pay ADT we contacted them they stated they never told us that and that we were signed for 5 YEARS.!!! we told the company we were never told 5 years they said we never tell anyone that part when talking to the gentleman we got angry and they hung up they called back within 1 or 2 hours stating call had drop when asked to speak with a supervisor or manager gentleman over phone stated we were not allow to then changed his story to it won’t change a thing no point on talking to someone else when told we would report them to the news and social media he got scared and said i’ll figure something out and will call you back never received a call back and notice they took more money out my account. Been on hold for 2hrs and still have not spoke with anyone from customer service this company is a scam they do not let you cancel them or let you talk to higher up do not go with this company Also there security system stops recording and saving videos at a certain point

"Unauthorized amount taken from credit…"

Unauthorized amount taken from credit card for services not received, or agreed to, no payments made for years, internal collections used bully tactics to take payment from individual that does not have an account after or reside here
Fluent manager agreed payment was not legit and AR team should not have put Payment in without 3 digit and expiry date. Day 14? Waiting for refund
Thankfully we record our calls and I suggest consumers do so always
The payment request was made, in exchange to clear a false alarm otherwise ER would arrive. (Hostage )
Wow factor. Fluent agreed on multiple occasions of refund
The perceived pasted due Amount is for cameras not installed at home
Update I got a call from fluent today to say I owe last months bill lol

"I’ve never dealt with such a terrible…"

I’ve never dealt with such a terrible company. The salesmen were absolute cons leaving out a ton of information that would make you think twice about going with fluent.

"can i give a negative 1 star?"

can i give a negative 1 star?. this company has the most abysmal customer service of any I've had dealings with. we are on month by month having paid the system off 5 years ago but they will not, cancel us,
rather they blame us, accuse us and threaten us. we no longer own the building. they have recieved multiple notices by email and phone speaking to real people and sending emails to the emailadresses they tell us to, yet they are still billing us. this is now 6 months! avoid these guys completely no matter how good their deal sounds. minutes to activate 6 months and still not disconnected.

"My contract was nearing expiration"

My contract was nearing expiration.
Fluent Offered two cameras in addition to the one they originally installed - in an effort to retain me.
Fluent was unsuccessful with camera installation, refunded my money paid by me for the camera.
Fluents position - I'm bound by new agreement, because I accepted the lower rate ($7 lower) regardless of fact, cameras - Not installed.
Fact- I did not make any payment to Fluent for over a year, due to this horrid experience. I did not signal intentions to agree to a renewal, nor did I make a payment. Cameras not installed.
Did not pay them for a year, as dispute and failed to fofull their end of deal.
Fast-forward to now, recently alarm triggered, by accident, noone knew the password to clear, beep beep loud uncomfortable noise.
A member of household (not authorized on account) called in to clear alarm, Fluent Collections used scare tactics to
Collect payment, in exchange to provide password and clear false alarm.
This Person from my household provided their credit card number only (no expiry date or 3 digit pin) or 'go ahead' she realized there is a dispute on account, and retracted...the CSR from Fluent Collections confirmed she could not process payment anyway without expiration date or pin...she placed call on hold and I assured us no payment was made...
We made, 3 more calls and explained and were assured no payment was processed
Fast forward, payment posted. Day 7 waiting for refund. Fraudulent, snake move, I have all correspondence for reference. Refund money to third-party
Who's not the account holder, based on false information, cancel agreement as per date cameras were to be installed.
Otherwise govern yourself accordingly.

"Horrible service"

Horrible service. I contacted Fluent and they sent me a “step by step fix it yourself email” which didn’t work. The rep said they would send someone to fix it if I paid $99.00 first for him to come out. We are on a contact, their equipment that we are paying quite a bit for a month should work. I now have a system that at times beeps for no reason and that hasn’t worked for months that I am paying for. I will be getting out of this contract even if I have to pay the cancellation fee. I would rather have security for my family.

"Scam"

I purchased a home which already had a system in place where previous owner had terminated / paid out their contract. I contacted this company regarding monitoring prices and was quoted $49.99 a month. Upon receiving contract it stated 60 month term and $795 for activating / installation. I contacted the company again indicating the system was in place and was unreasonable to charge installation, further I would not agree to a 60 month term. I was told nothing could be done and $795 charges would be removed although they left the associated taxes on the contract. I never signed the contract and called to say forget it, I’ll look into another company and was told no one was available to help with the issue further and confirmation couldn’t be given that I would not be billed. Upon review of contract it indicates cancellation requires full payment of years of service. This company is a scam, don’t bother with them.

"Once you're in, you can't leave"

I am HOT. Just called to cancel or pause my service, as simplisafe offers the same services for 1/4 the price and we frankly can't afford Fluent anymore. Originally we had Vivint, but the Fluent people came in and said they bought out vivint and would we sign some papers saying we still want our security monitoring under the new company name. So we signed the papers. Cut to today when the service rep tells me "you signed a FIVE YEAR contract" and me going "no, I paid vivint on a month to month contract" and her saying "well I can send you copies of the documents." Like obviously I signed them because I was told to sign them but NO ONE mentioned it was a change in contract length. AND WE HAVE TO PAY THE FULL CONTRACT REGARDLESS of if I cancel it today, or even pause it, so like I guess I'll just let this useless company drink several hours worth of my labor each frigging month because apparently there's NO OTHER OPTION!?!?!?!?

"We have been using fluent for 10 years…"

We have been using fluent for 10 years now. Now that it has come out with 5 G they can not fix my security system that they provided for their service. They are making me pay for a security system that doesn't work at all. I got a hold a BBB and they couldn't get Fluent to do anything. Said we can be customers for 10 years and we get not help. The only option they give us is a new contract, no thank you. Whatever happened to customer service?
