"Ultimate Decking Paint- Warm Stone"
Colour on the pot and on web of multiple suppliers was vastly different. Who wants a white decking.
It’s ridiculous that in this day and age it’s not possible to represent the colour correctly for paint, I know individual monitors can be set up to show colours differently but what shows as a reasonably dark taupe/stone colour should not come out almost white. That’s complete misrepresentation. The colour on the pot was a bit lighter than on the web but it looked a beige colour but also nothing like it came out.
I would describe the colour as snow it’s not brilliant white but it looks like snow.
I also think it’s insane to create a colour for outside decking like that. A complete waste of £92. I know it’s a small amount of money to them and they don’t give a #### but I expect from reading reviews most customers are at least surprised by the colour they get if not annoyed.
The cop out that printed or website colours aren’t representative is just not good enough.

"Real tradesman don't use Ronseal"
Real trades man don't use this over priced cancer ridden rubbish , spend more money on marketing to sell rubbish to the masses. Tried several of their products now , and they all were awful. Your much better with the alternative that are usually cheaper . More expensive don't mean it's better ! It's just crap.

"Ronseal Diamond Hard Floor…False advertise!"
Bought the Ronseal Diamond Hard Floor Varnish Clear Satin in B&Q for the softwood stairs rework. These were completely stripped to bare wood, stained and varnished as per instructions on the tin. I have applied 3 coats and month later, I can easily make an indentation to wood just with my nails without any effort. Reading advice whenever I can and reviews for this product I understand what is going on. It took me weeks to prepare the stairs to this point omitting the fact how expensive this stuff is. All I can say, I feel betrayed as customer by this false advertise. Damage is done. NEVER AGAIN RONSEAL!!!

"What a load of rubbish"
What a load of rubbish! Definitely doesn’t do what it says on the tin. I have never painted with a paint like it, doesn’t brush on or roller on, if you touch the paint you’ve just applied in a brush or rolling motion it just peels the paint back off. Waiting for it to dry now so I can rub the walls down and remove the big marks it has left behind. What a complete waste of a day and money, £36 for a tin of crap, not to mention the One Coat slogan, you can’t even apply one coat properly.
Avoid using this.
Doesn’t warrant the one star but wouldn’t let me proceed without submitting a star rating!

"Ronseal Sadly Not What I Expected "
I bought the Ronseal High Performance Wood filler, and cannot complain about the quality of it sanded into the cracks and crevices of the damaged external front door. Maybe they need to change the size of the tin to let you know how much is really inside... as there was a third only inside a 275 grams tin. The main concern I have is the Ronseal Xactly Exterior Paint Colour Boost, that clearly states Rainproof in one hour, so it is painted, and fourteen hours later it does rain..and the whole door is now mottled... ?? I have photographs of the amazing finish that was done prior to the rain and was very proud of rescuing this door from decay, and now very perturbed by all the negative comments about Ronseal Products...including this one... I just thought that it did what it said on the Tin...

"Fence Life Plus disaster!"
We have used ronseal fence life plus on our house cladding. We did 3 coats, with plenty of time in between but the black paint has completely faded and gone patchy, in some places right back to bare wood. This was after only 8 months and it is supposed to be good for 5 years plus! I had several months of emails back and forth with customer service who just came back with nonsense excuses so she said it would be escalated to a manager. That was 2 months ago and have heard nothing, despite chasing. This is a major headache and am very disappointed with Ronseal’s la k of response.
Have had a courteous response from Ronseal, below. But have heard nothing since from them. Being cynical, maybe by writing a message on here, they look to be supportive, but then take no further action . .

"We used Ronseal chalky furniture paint…"
We used Ronseal chalky furniture paint dead flat Matt pink rose and it is the worst paint you could ever use. It is basically water with a touch of pink in it. It takes around 20 coats to cover a light grey kitchen cupboard do not buy.

"I was really excited purchasing the…"
I was really excited purchasing the Diamond Hard garage floor paint as I have always wanted a smart looking garage and the floor is so important. I followed the instructions to the letter set about painting my floor. I allowed two days between coats and painted it a week before I went on holiday for two weeks. It says dont drive on it for 3 days, so I left it to dry/set for 21 days. Came back from holiday and really excited to drive into the garage on the new shiny floor, only to find that under where the tyres had been parked overnight the paint had lifted. To make it worse some water off the car had dripped down and it had bubbled. I now have a painted floor so no going back and horrible patches of concrete. Dont buy this product as you cant drive on it and its NOT waterproof. Tried to call customer services six times, held in a queue and then line dropped. If i could give a minus score I would. It DOESNT do what it says on the tin and they should be ashamed. I replied with the information Ronseal requested a number of times and all I got back was emails saying that they have not heard from me and closing the complaint.
