Omni Capital Retail Finance appears to be engaging in fraudulent practices. They fail to provide the basic documentation that a lender should offer. They continue to charge interest secretly without any detailed explanations.
We entered into a loan agreement via a broker. This broker did not inform us that the direct debit payments would not cover the outstanding balance on our buy now, pay later plan. As a result, we are now facing high interest rates.
We have attempted to create an account multiple times. Each attempt results in a declined application. The message we receive states: "We regret to inform you that after careful consideration, your application has been unsuccessful because it does not meet our current lending criteria." Following this, there has been no further communication from them.
Now, they have sent us an annual statement. This statement shows how they have deducted money from our account for interest. They did this without any communication via post, email, phone call, or text message.

The online process was simple, although i did make it harder for myself by using my Mobile Phone. As soon as i switched to my Laptop, it was like a "light bulb" going of in my head, so much easier, could see more and even understand more. All in all, easy, relatively quick and definitely painless.

There was a problem completing my on line Omni form on 7th January 2025
All the staff at Ommi were very helpful, throughout the day however the problem kept recurring.
The final member of staff Tyler Cherry was determined to solve, after reviewing the problem with myself and another member of staff. We went through the form again, page by page completing by typing answers in the box rather than using the word which appeared to click into the box.Finally the form opened up at the second to last page where I had been early in the day..
Tyler Cherry a very personable efficient company employee , who staid on line to enable myself to insert all the relevant information your company required , the form was completed quickly and successfully

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
I signed up to a 6 month payment plan to pay for laser treatment with Skn clinics. I signed up for 8 sessions which I did not receive as the company went bust before I received my treatments. I took legal advice and was advised that Omni were in breach of contract as the services were not supplied. I raised a complaint with them which took over 6 weeks to resolve. During that time I didn’t make a payment. Omni capital did not have any compassion and harassed me by email, phone and text multiple times a day for payment despite the unresolved complaint. There is no communication from a human, just robotic chasers which cause stress and worry. I received a response to my complaint basically saying it’s an unregulated loan and despite law being in place to protect consumers in this situation, they don’t uphold it so I have to pay the money. In the end I felt so exhausted by it all that I called them to sort out the payments and entered into a new contract to pay the balance. Despite this, they reported to credit agencies that I didn’t pay any of the payments which is not correct. This has severely affected my credit rating. I’ve complained about this to them and they’ve said that because of the missed payments during the complaint, and despite the fact I entered into a new contract, I was always in arrears and therefore they have to report that I’m not making payments! I was not told this at the time of entering into a new plan and as a result for the last 5 months, they’ve been noting my file as missed payments despite the fact I’ve been paying them.
It’s an absolute scam. There’s no customer service, no one cares, they just screw people over and mess up their credit rating. I never use credit and I never will again after this.
