"What a mess about it was to get the ok…"

What a mess about it was to get the ok for a mobile I wanted. It took nearly 1 whole week to get it done after repeatedly being told that everything was sorted out. The annoying thing is I missed the deadline to claim a freebie from Samsung. In future I will seek other methods.

"Money taken without being owed."

I was incorrectly debited on 25th September (I owed them nothing) and despite promises to refund me I am still waiting a week later. I was promised three working days! Do I have to go to court?

I have been in touch with their Support team several times and they never fail to make me feel welcome and safe.

I recently spoke with Kirsty and Tyler from the Omni Capital Retail Finance team and they have been super helpful. I recently used Omni Capital Retail financing for a course under learningpeople dot com I no longer wished to study the course and unfortunately came to this resolution after the 14 day cooling off period so I still have to pay the fees due.

I am currently struggling for money and payments and due to my circumstances with debt, the team have been kind in allowing me to fill in a income & expenditures form - lowering my monthly fees whilst I get back on my feet.

Please keep being kind, many of us are vulnerable and it's much appreciated in these tough times. Thank you Omni Capital team.

I took out finance for cosmetic dental work and everything was simple and easy. Monthly payments came off with no issue and when I inherited some money and decided to pay off the loan early in full this was straightforward and confirmed in writing the next day.

It’s reassuring to know you take the time to ensure customers are kept up to date with their loan agreements and that you take the responsibility to stop the DD on completion of the finance agreement.

Having had previous experiences of non-communication from student loans co, car financiers, and banks, this email was very welcome that you acknowledge the agreement has ended and you’ll end the DD.

AVIOD SNEEKY CONTRACTS

I took out a 6 month interest free loan for with this company for a course of laser hair removal treatment with Sk:n Clinic.

Sk:n Clinic have gone into liquidation and ceased trading. I signed the finance agreement with Omni on 16th July and the company went into liquidation on 17th July. I was never made aware of this and have only just found out. I am therefore now past my 14 day cooling off period and Omni are telling me I need to continue my payments, even though I won’t receive my treatment and apparently my contract states this is an ‘unsecured loan’ and therefore I have no consumer rights. They advised if I cancel my direct debits my will take action against me and my payment could be higher and it will affect my credit score. I have no option but to continue to pay over £600 and receive nothing for it!
