"The delivery driver left my parcel…"

The delivery driver left my parcel outside the house, didn't check if I was in and someone stole it. Then today he delivered a parcel AGAIN & left it outside my house without knocking. It's a good thing I was home and heard him dropping the parcel aggressively.

Company is a joke.

"I'd rather I hadn't received a tracking link!"

Followed the tracking link supplied by Suttons.co.uk which led to a Whistl page stating 'Out for Delivery' so I waited in all day (a Saturday).

I contacted the supplier after 5pm to see if they knew what time latest delivery could be and was told 'I can see that your order was handed over to Royal Mail for delivery early this morning. Once an order is in the hands of Royal Mail we expect for this to be despatched in the next 1-3 days.'

Wholly inaccurate tracking and I'll actively avoid any companies that use this Whistl. in future.

"Good Service"

Ordered a dvd box set off Amazon. Was 2nd hand. The seller used Whistl for delivery.

As I’d never heard of Whistl, I checked here on Trust Pilot for reviews. I was dismayed to see all the negative reviews. However, I needn’t have been worried, my parcel was delivered today, bang on time and parcel in excellent condition.

Personally absolutely no problems with Whistl.

"So So Slow"

I am sure there was delight in Whistl when they scooped Music Magpie as a customer. I am not sure there will be delight in Music Magpie when their customers decide the longest delivery times UK to UK are not acceptable. You receive items quicker from one of Music Magpie's Swiss competitors.

A book I ordered on eBay was due at the beginning of the week and there's no sign of it. According to the Whistl website its status is "Collection scheduled" - what does that even mean?

"What is the point of Whistl?"

"Whistl is a delivery management company providing efficient, high-quality and competitively priced services".
At the same time, I ordered via Amazon some sink plugs and a sink chain from two different companies.
The first company used Royal Mail 48, and the sink plugs came two days after order.
The second company used Whistl, where the tracking showed some assorted faffing around, before it was handed over to Royal Mail for delivery, which took place seven days after order.
It would seem that Whistl's "high-quality and efficient delivery management" had no effect for the end customer except to delay delivery for five days.
Hence the Subject: "What is the point of Whistl?"

"Awesome Books, Awful Service"

Ordered a book on EBay from Awesome Books. Delivery promised by 8th June. It is now 12th June, no delivery. Checked tracking on Whistl - they collected it on 31 May, no updates since. Must surely be the worst delivery company in the UK.
