"Customer Service needs work"

I placed an order online and saw free next day delivery which I thought was great. I called up for an ETA on delivery day and the driver texted me 30 mins before delivery. Things were great up until this point. Then the mattress that was delivered was not the mattress I’d ordered; it was too big and did not fit my bed frame. I called up and was told that I need to prove this was the case by taking pictures of the mattress with measurements. In the end I took two sets of pictures (1st lot were two small, and apparently the 2nd lot had kinks in the tape measure). I wasn’t exactly sure how I could lay down the tape measure and simultaneously take a photo of a 4ft mattress. Furthermore, I provided a picture of my bed slats and their measurement. Not sure why they couldn’t check if a 4ft mattress that no one had ordered was missing... Every time I spoke to someone on the phone, the phone manner was less than pleasant. I was asked if I’d ordered the right size etc. At no point was any attempt made to apologise for what was their mistake. I was offered an exchange but it wouldn’t be until the following Monday (5 days after I’d initially ordered the mattress. I called Monday morning to get an ETA of the mattress as my friend was going to take the delivery for me while I was at work. Somehow, HFUK has missed me off the delivery schedule!! It wouldn’t arrive until Tuesday now! If the delivery was going to arrive before 5.30pm, I would have no one to take it and they don’t offer exchanges on weekends. I finally was able to speak to a lovely person called Sarah who was able to sort this all out. She was able to let me know that the ETA was after working hours so I’d be home. I was told between 5.30pm-6.30pm and it arrived at 7.15pm; not the end of the world but still, added on to everything, not great service. The driver was lovely though and he let me know in advance that he’d be late. All in all, it was a very stressful situation that I think could have been helped in the Sales teams and customers service in general was better. I would ask for a partial refund or something, but right now, I’m just happy that I’m no longer sleeping on the floor.

"Dont use these if you want next day…"

Dont use these if you want next day delivery. I called in the morning to confirm we was receiving the bed, to be told yes we was number 17 for the day. Two hours later received a call to say actually it would be the following day. What a joke, most people work full time and dont have the luxury of having spare days to wait in for a bed.

Apart from changing/delaying the delivery date by a day everything was fine, they refunded the extra delivery charge so no major problem. A good value item.

"Purchased divan bed went with home…"

Purchased divan bed went with home furnishings due to reasonable prices as I am pensioner. Bed is made out of very poor material board on top of bed very hollow don’t long how long it will last draw is very flimsy. Also it arrived yesterday with a mark on the base I just not well enough to deal with all hassle of emailing and phoning and sending back. Well obviously hfyou James Bond isn’t my name to placed a order under my real name.

"Worst company ever to deal with."

Absolutely no concept of 'customer service'. No communication about delivery dates or times, sales staff blatantly lie when discussing delivery, so called customer service manager jokes and laughs on phone with delivery driver within ear shot of customer. Delivery driver lazy, rude, and surely. Not one member of staff I spoke to (all calls generated by me) was in the least bit concerned about the appalling service we have recieved. Not holding my breath that they will care about this review. Buy from someone else, anybody else, you have been warned.

"Spend your money elsewhere!"

Mattress springs defective within a month of purchase. Was away on holiday and only messaged the company 6 weeks after purchase. They will only look at the mattress once I've returned it at own cost. What am I supposed to sleep on then? At own cost? Shipping will be what I paid for the mattress! AVOID THIS COMPANY!
