This is a review about the people I thought helpful and really nice on the phone. This morning Declan help me to solve my last minute issue and I was quite grateful about his understanding.

Keiran was an absolute legend, was seconds away from cancelling now paying in full. Gave me all the info I needed to know and has secured me a time for my test that is ridiculously convenient

Macie does her job very well, she always keeps in touch with me by letting me know what’s going on in terms of getting the students booked in for their lessons, she is a good asset to the company

"Awful, scam of a company. Do not book"

This company take your money, provide you with unprofessional instructors that have distracting items in the car you do lessons in. My instructor kept constantly complaining about this company and when I made a complaint they said they won’t uphold the complaint, yet the instructor called them incompetent as well. Jayne was my instructor, she was just after more money and encouraging me to book more lessons before I even met her. She over complicated her lessons by constantly saying “more gas, less gas, less gas, more gas”. Taking the matter up with DSA. They don’t even acknowledge complaints within the stated time frame. Please, if you want to learn with a safe and professional driving instructor. Don’t book via these con artists.
Upon reading other reviews, they do the same. Bombard you with messages before you arrive to say book more lessons. Within an hour of driving Jayne said I wouldn’t be put forward for the test, when I had 18 hours left. She emotionally drained me and completely battered my confidence; she seemed to enjoy it in fact. She kept saying Swansea has the lowest pass rate for practical test pass rates, this was a lie and another tactic she used to destroy my confidence. I didn’t expect her to be my mate, but to be professional and not slag myintensovecourse off whilst I’m mid lesson is highly unprofessional. Licia kept avoiding my calls and Ryan didn’t even know their own complaints procedure. They should acknowledge the complaint within 72 working hours. Which they didn’t. I am now taking them to the small claims court, along with my evidence of the state of the inside of the car (Jayne has no space for me to put my phone/ inhaler away safely and luckily audio of Jayne talking unprofessionally) because she just had CDs every where and a tom tom from around the year 2000. Do your research on this company. It’s not good

4/5 for the company. They were quick to get me going after passing my theory with them, assigning me an instructor days after passing. Only big critique I have is they are sometimes a bit difficult to get ahold off, though usually trying a new time/day would sort that. That being said they would occasionally check up on my progress and whenever I did speak to them they were very helpful.

5/5 for Simon Gilbert (in the York, Scarborough area). He has been an absolute godsend. He was so patient with me and believed in me even when I was ready to give up after failing the first time. Thanks to his teaching I now have a license!

"First Time Passes"

Booked courses for both my son and daughter in York area and we were lucky to get Alan as the instructor. He was excellent and both got on with him really easily. He pushed for earlier test dates and both got a test earlier than had been originally programmed. Most importantly, both passed at first attempt! Excellent service from Alan followed up by Licia in customer service.
