"Another cracked floormat!"
I purchased a Chair Mat for Carpet Floors - PRO series at the end of June, and like so many other recent reports below, it has cracked after only 4 months of home use.
I have emailed Floormats with images and received zero response after over a week, despite their assurance of a 4-hour reply.
I have also tried phoning them several times to discuss, where I was put on hold for a few minutes before receiving a message suggesting I call back later.
From the other comments, the next stage will be asking me to return the mat to Germany at my expense. Should that be any different, I will certainly update this review to repost some sign or indication of customer support for a defective product, but I am not feeling hopeful.

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!"
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
I can confirm that from my own dealings with them all the other reviews are correct. I also bought a floor mat which split and they refuse to do anything about it unless I return it to their factory in Germany at my cost. Then they would evaluate it and let me know their findings.Cost of shipping is around £25
This is their UK office which is very near to Tower Bridge. I am considering taking my mat to their office.

"Chair mat for carpet floors"
Bought a chair mat for a carpet - polycarbonate. It cracked within a week. Tried ringing, emailing company. Noone answers. Then when you try phone number of parent company - someone from a construction company answers phone and has no connection to this company. Complete waste of time. Advise you strongly not to buy from this company.

"Floor mat cracked after 7 weeks"
I bought one of their polycarbonate Pro series floor mats for my office. It cracked in several places after 7 weeks. Terrible product and terrible customer service from Serda. The company refuses to allow returns.
All the reviews of the product on their site are 5 star yet here on Trustpilot they are 2 star. They are blatantly deleting the real reviews from their site!
I am pursuing a chargeback via credit card company.

"Do not use this company"
We wish we had read these reviews before ordering a floor mat from this company. The floor mat we ordered said it was designed for office chairs on carpets, yet it cracked within days. The product is therefore not fit for purpose. The company told us to return the product to Germany, which we did (the postage cost was as much as the floor mat had cost!). The company said that there was nothing wrong with the product and we must have used it inappropriately! We are still chasing up and liaising with trading standards. I only gave this company one star because there isn't an option to give no stars.

"AVOID!!!!"
I wish I reviewed this company before ordering from here! I’ve just spent £140 on 4 chair mats that aren’t fit for purpose! When emailed yday to return them they said Germany! A joke!!!! Looked at prices as I really don’t know if I will be able to sell them on the cost is at least £40 +! After reading another review who returned to Germany there still chasing it up so I darent even risk that! I’m so mad with myself as I was just going to order 1 then pay more postage if I liked it now stuck with 4 of the damm things!
Reported this to trading standards but because the product isn’t faulty there’s nothing that can be done!!! Furious!!

"Poor product, even worse service."
Purchased a floor protector mat from this company. The mat arrived scuffed and looked used. I complained about this but didn't think too much of it after the supplier apologized.
I was going to put it on the floor and put an office chair on it anyway, what could go wrong with a piece of plastic?
Well it turns out, quite a bit actually.
After just over 3 months of usage, the matt is curling along one of the long edges and the corner causing a tripping hazard. wrote to the supplier and asked for a replacement. Supplier suggested putting books to flatten it or to use a hairdryer.
not surprisingly, neither worked so I asked for a refund or replacement.
Supplier offered a couple of £ refund (LOL) and then stopped responding to emails when I explained that was not acceptable.
Have now opened a dispute with PayPal.

"Terrible product and customer care"
The worst customer care I have experienced, with no deviation from script and no humanity involved.
Stair mats were not as advertised and were a different colour than on website. When I requested return attaching photos to the email I was informed that there must be somethoing wrong with my computer settings as the colour was correct. I ordered a plain biscuit colour and received yellow mats. I was asked to return items to a German address by tracked mail. Sending the item by tracked post would have cost more than the items original price and even using regular post cost over 50% of the items price, and I feel it is very misleading that 'Floor Mats UK' has no postal address to return to within the UK.
I placed the original invoice in the parcel including my address on the package so it could be identified and sent by royal mail which cost half of the items original price. I emailed a copy of the proof of postage to 'Floor Mats UK'. It is now 3 weeks later and each time I contact them to request that my refund is processed I am asked for my tracking number. By the same member of staff that I have had contact with previously and therefore is aware that there is not a tracking number and the reasons for this. Still no refund. They should be ashamed of their service.

"Rubbish floor mats"
Cracked within a couple of weeks of use and soon thereafter completely wrecked. I bought 2 extra large mats to protect carpet from desk chair wear. Despite 3 emails I've not had a response from Floor Mats UK.
Since posting the above, I've tried 3 more times to contact Floor Mats UK via the contact link on their web page. No response. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY DON'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR POOR QUALITY.

"The product is not fit for purpose and the company are in Germany not the UK so manage to avoid providing customer service"
I ordered a mat to sit under an office chair on a carpet. After a few weeks the mat cracked under the wheels of the chair, it is clearly not fit for the purpose that they sold it for. The company wanted me to send the mat to Germany at my own cost so that they could asses whether it had a material defect. As I explained to them, it is irrelevant to me the consumer whether they consider the defect to be material or not, the product is clearly not fit for the purpose that they sold it and therefore should be replaced or refunded irrespective of what it was in their materials or manufacturing which went wrong. I paid £80 and am not willing to pay more for them to get the mat back without them providing a refund or replacement.
They resolutely refuse to refund or replace the faulty goods despite the mat being useless to me. They have changed the description of the mat on their website and said it is only suitable for hard floors but despite this are unashamed to offer no recompense for selling me an item that was clearly described as designed for carpets.
It adds insult to injury that like many in this time of health and financial crisis I am attempting to support the local economy and at the very least buy British, but this firm is in fact based in Germany and misleading the public by using a website address that would indicate that they are in the UK.
