DO NOT BUY FROM FLOORMATS OR DAYTON HOME & OFFICE!!!
I, too, bought chair mats from FloorMats that cracked and, within 2 months, disintegrated. They do not respond to telephone or email contacts. Royal Mail does not recognize them at their London, Tanner Place address and returns Registered Mail.
I'm out over £92 and will be seeking help and advice from Which?, Resolver, Amazon and PayPal as well as posting on Social Media. Will try to post updates here.

"Terrible Company"
This company are nothing but a bunch of crooks. Do not deal with them. You think you are dealing with a firm in the UK but they are based in Germany. My mat cracked apart after a few weeks and the company are not interested. Took the matter up with paypal and was asked to send the mat to an address in London, where the delivery was refused. They are just trying to be as awkward as possible.

If only I’d checked on TrustPilot before purchasing 2 identical mats from this company in September. One had a ragged edge exposing the mat base. It also had material tufts glued to the surround giving it pitted appearance. I asked for a refund and was refused. I provided photos of the satisfactory mat compared to the defective mat and was refused.
“ The ragged edge is a natural result of production and it is not a defect.”
I asked for the name of the chief officer to complain to and was refused.

I have already sent one review to say what a terrible mat and firm this is, and to avoid at all costs, like all the other people you have complained I was told to send it back to Germany, at own cost. The mat now has so many cracks that I could probably put all the pieces in an A4 envelope and send it back to whence it came. I know that I wont, can't be bothered and that's what they rely on, the fact that most people give up, too much hassle. REMEMBER DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FIRM. It should be no star rating

Bought a mat for home use with a chair, cracked into pieces in 2 months with little use. no customer service FULL STOP avoid at ALL COSTS........... Simply terrible. Martin

Mat cracked up within a few months. Ignored my emails. I am not fussed about a refund but they should stop selling mats that are not fit for purpose. And they should provide a meaningful customer service. Don't use this company under any circumstances. I would give them zero stars if I could.

Similar story to others. Correct purchase for a low pile carpet, less than average use and cracked within a couple of months. Emailed company and this is the reply:-

"Worst customer service ever experienced"
Oh dear. We bought two mats based on the positive reviews. I so wish we had checked out reviews for the company first. Damaged mats, cracked and scuffed. They refused to replace the scuffed mat unless we return it to Germany at our expense. This will cost more than the mat itself. We just want an exchange but the company are no longer replying to any of our e-mails. How can they be allowed to trade?

Please do not buy from this company. I was led to believe it was a UK company and bought a coir mat from them that on delivery was the wrong thickness. When I asked to return it for a refund or replacement they told me to post to Germany. When I asked to return to the UK branch (?) as sending to Germany was going to cost too much money they refused to respond to me. I have yet to get a response and unable to get through to anyone. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

"Do not buy, bad product and zero customer service."
Mysteriously, when following the link from Google it goes straight to the positive reviews. I wish I'd seen the negative reviews before buying the substandard product which, like others, has cracked in less than two months. So far, the company has ignored our emails, and it looks as if they work on the basis of ignoring customers so they will melt away.
I'll add that the mat has now broken where it was cracked. Why sell rubbish like this that will end up in landfill!
