Product received is nothing like the pictures. Tried complaining online to no avail. Tried calling and just waiting for hours for nothing.
More of what has already been written so you get the point... avoid!

I bought a floor mat from here 2+ years ago and it's had very, very heavy use and is still going strong. They have discontinued this one so when I needed another, I asked what was the similar replacement. They advised the PRO which they said was even better! It wasn't. Cracked within two months and terrible customer service, just like the other reviews here. Luckily I paid by PayPal and got a refund.

"Avoid - product and service both at fault."

Exactly same experience as other reviewers: bought 2 mats, they have cracked, no after sales/ customer service. Told to return to Germany at my own expense, which would cost more than the price of the mat. I have sent photos, but to no avail. Deliberately bought from a UK company to enable returns, but it looks like the UK arm is just a front for the German operation. UK Customer Service phone number gets cut off when you try to ring. They have stopped responding to emails.
Very disappointing. Avoid and buy elsewhere.

"Avoid at all costs. Dangerous product!!"

Avoid!! Very poorly constructed and dangerous product. I purchased a Chair Mat For Carpet Floors - PRO Series (transparent) - which seems to have been withdrawn from the website now.

The product was delivered with sharp cuts along what was meant to be a rounded edge. 6 weeks later the mat cracked with sharp edges which has made it dangerous for me and also for babies to be around the product. I contacted the seller with pictures and they want me to pack and return the product to Germany at my own cost - the product was circa £49 in the first place. They won’t call me despite my requests. They have a London office listed on the website. They are trying to get out of their responsibilities. I will be reporting them to trading standards.

"AVOID, AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!"

Purchased a plastic floor mat for use on a short pile carpet, product cracked after a few weeks. Company refused to refund me, insisted I had to send product back to Germany for inspection, at my expense (mat is 1m by 1.2m, would cost >£25).

Wished I had paid through credit card as could claim refund, am currently disputing through PayPal.

The goods are not fit for purpose, so I should be protected by UK Consumer rights act 2015 - I will go to Trading Standards.

"Worst customer service and post-sales. They won't take my money anymore"

I bought a mat online since I was working from home and needed to protect my carpet.

The mat arrived covered by cardboard sheets which were taped together- first sign of trouble.

The mat itself was 3mm thick. I personally ordered the wrong one. It snapped as my chair and I weight more. Hands up, I went back to order a second.

When I went to ask for a 4mm thick sheet, the problems started.

They wanted to see my mat to prove it was broken. Photos provided.

Still they insisted the grade of the product meant it must be a defect. I told them that was fine, I wanted to order a separate thicker sheet.

9 weeks later, the 4mm sheet doesn't exist, and they demanded I return the mat.

No one would actually speak to me on the phone, and all I wanted was to order a few new units. The company have zero interest in helping me pick the right thing, and are laser focused that it must be a defect, and they can't sell me a new one.

Don't buy from them. Post sales are awful. They won't actually want to see you anything, and when I try to buy a new one, I get an email advising they won't process it until I send back the old one

So, I did return it. In a shoebox, as all the parts shattered completely without needing to break it by hand or tool.

"Scam company selling low quality products"

Same story as everyone else. Ordered a Carpet PRO, received a hard floor product instead. First offered a 16% discount to keep the product, then upped the discount to 24%. They eventually sent out a replacement, yet another hard floor product! Decided to use it anyway as it'd been over a month from order to receiving the replacement mat. Two huge cracks within 10 days, despite stating on their website that is to last years without cracking.

They will only process a refund if I ship the product(s) back to Germany, which will cost £60 which is more than the cost of the product. The customer service agent is now ignoring my emails.

Avoid this company at all costs!

I would give it zero stars if possible. Chair mat cracked a couple of months after using; I contacted customer service to ask for a replacement, to which they said I needed to pay for the return of the product to Germany myself (from the UK). I went back asking for them to collect it as that's an unacceptable cost on my end, to which they have ignored, and every other email since!! Brittle product that breaks just by sitting on it and even worse customer service, AVOID! Go through Amazon instead, at least you know you can contact someone if it is faulty!

Wish I had seen Floor Mats reviews here before.
Mat came in tiny box, has been all crumbled when unfolded, mat been laid flat on the floor for 2 weeks and it is still crumbled and plenty of folding marks are visible.
Floormats expect to send faulty product back at my own expense so they can investigate it! - unacceptable.

As with others I would have given no stars if that was an option. I most definitely would not have purchased if I had read here first. Carpet protector mat snapped in several places within weeks leaving dangerous sharp edges given the rigid structure of the mat. I have been instructed to package and return to Germany so they can review if there are defects! I have refused unless they fund it and offered to send photos. No apology at all which was a surprise. They clearly have no intention of refunding and will also report to Trading Standards. They also say they guarantee the quality of the product which they clearly aren't given their stance. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
