"The co op is fine if you need food quickly"
The co op is fine if you need food quickly. Yes it's more expensive than any of the other local shops except for M&S or Waitrose but you're paying for the convenience of having it local and the quality of the food is much than Tesco or Sainsburys.

"Terrible Service"
I placed an order for same-day delivery, but it never arrived. Despite calling multiple times and being assured it was on its way, it never showed up. I reached out to the Co-op for a refund, and they promised it would be processed — but it wasn’t. I eventually had to get PayPal involved, and I’m still waiting for my refund. Absolutely terrible service — I’ll never order from them again!

I went into the Sunderland branch and had a one on one appointment with Jason.
He was extremely helpful, patient and thorough. I was very satisfied with my experience.

"Absolutely disgusting hiked prices"
Absolutely disgusting hiked prices, would never believe it, the whole stock is over priced for what it is. A 600g trifle £4.70 when exactly the same size trifle at Aldi is £2.49!! So buying 2 basic trifles is £9.40!! Its not Harrods!! Also for 3 ice cream on sticks (lolly's) were £5.00,!!!! Despicable . This is in Wareham Dorset. Cannot wait for new Lidl being built on the edge of the town, what a relief. Co op should be ashamed of their prices. Alot of people living in Wareham who cannot drive ie elderly etc have little option except sainsburys still expensive, plus Co Op know its a busy town in the summer attracting holiday makers, so they price high all year round in order to take that all in! The town needs to get some backbone and complain about the prices. Its not as if they are supreme quality, just mediocre. Really outrageous prices. 😡😡😡

"Shawfair"
Subject: Complaint Regarding Staff and Customer Service at Shawfair Co-op
Dear Co-op Customer Service,
I am writing to formally raise a concern about the service I have recently experienced at your Shawfair store.
On Tuesday 25th February , I attempted to purchase a bag of coffee and some milk , however after being charged wrongly and explaining this to the person serving me , after approximately 10 minutes, I sighed in frustration. Although only after being asked to scan my card for the 3rd time. At this point, the supervisor, Erin, appeared to take issue with my reaction, which I found both unnecessary and unprofessional.
Additionally, the previous day, I encountered similarly poor service from two members of staff, one of whom was Erin. Their behaviour came across as unprofessional, and basic courtesies such as “please” and “thank you” were noticeably absent. A workplace, especially one serving customers, should maintain professional standards rather than feeling like a school playground.
I would appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed, and if necessary, staff reminded of the importance of professional and courteous customer service.
I appreciate it’s a new store with new staff , this has never happened despite me using the Gilmerton and Danderhall store for years.
Erin’s horrible attitude does not fit well with managing staff and serving CUSTOMERS

"Tills YELLING and offers NOT appropriate "
In the past, my Co-Op member offers reflected what I bought frequently. I would get an offer for milk almost every week. Recently - as they advertise they give offers on the things you buy most often - the offers have been LESS appropriate, e.g. this week I have offers for dog food and Quorn - two things I have NEVER bought, and although I still buy milk every week I haven’t had an offer for milk for several months. The other issue is the volume of the self-service tills. I have complained about this over and over for years now, but these tills still SHOUT everything at full volume, and when two are shouting at the same time it’s bedlam. Nothing gets done, so shopping at the Co-Op has become a horrible, stressful experience.

" Grandstand Road Coop, OVERCHARGED, STAFF AWFUL, MANAGER EVEN WORSE"
Went to the Grandstand Road shop and wad overcharged, But instead of trying to correct the issue the cashier tried saying it was my fault, she insisted that the item was clearly marked as a meal deal item when it was not, eventually I had a full refund and the item was put back up for despite me holding it in my hands

"Those so called store card offers are…"
Those so called store card offers are the biggest scam going. Here's why. A box of 6 fab ice lollys is normally between £1.75 and £2.50. The coop are between £3.25and £3.50. This is than put on the store card offer as 3 box's for £4 saving you about £1.25. But if you do not have a card you pay £5. So your actual saving is just 25p. This is happening right across thair so called store card offers. Be careful. It's ripoff Britain at its finesse.

"SHOCKING Service "
In hospital this was order 5 or 6 . Didn't get delivered then store said nothing to do with them . Called a number given on a Sunday guy said priority delivery coming then canceled by email. After this 15 minutes later receives text saying we're trying to deliver your order soon . I'm at a loss as a member and I hold shares that I've had for years . One word of this service is UNBELIEVABLE .
