"On line ordered milk sent chicken…"

On line ordered milk sent chicken breast fillets as substitute. Tried phoning before delivery got recorded message. Went to shop bought milk and asked for refund. Not allowed go on line. Go on line form won't accept Whitleigh Green as an address for store. Disgusting attitude from staff who made it plain that I was an irritant. Awful awful attitude. No help no apology just excuses .icing on the cake. I got charged twice for the chicken!

"Shocking online experience "

Not keen on posting bad reviews reviews but I am furious.
Last Saturday I placed an online order which I paid for Delivery was between two and 4 o’clock by 6 o’clock I hadn’t received my order. All I got was a text saying they were running behind. I finally rang and got through to the local shop. It had a power cut in the morning And I would not be getting my order at all called into the shop spoke to the manager who advised me that he had informed the online department to switch off and stop taking online orders. My order was taken and paid for one hour after he asked them to stop taking orders I was also advised It would be 3 to 5 days before I got my money. It’s now a week tomorrow and I still haven’t got any money back from them I contacted customer service today took me ages to get through I-spoke to a young lad who said he was looking into it he then put the phone down on me. I called into the store on my way home from work and spoke to a member of staff when I checked my phone i saw the person i spoke to had cancelled my order two minutes after he put the phone down on me, So my order had only been cancelled today one day short of a week after I placed the order. I now may have to wait another 3 to 5 days before I get my money And no one is doing anything about it
How can someone take your money knowing full well that they cannot supply your order

Co op refund not into my bank account !£40 including delivery charge said yo be credited back into my bank account two orders co op managed to come out with ! Website proves there was only one order! Second delivery was what co op managed to get a 'stolen' delivery!

Purchased coffee that was 4 months out of date! Logged online with the customer care department, no response, chased up by phone 2 weeks later after not hearing anything. Told to go in store for a refund! What is the point of a customer care department to call and report problems!!

"Salmonella Fillet Steak"

So in April 2024 I bought a 28 day matured fillet steak which both my daughter and I shared. We ended up getting food poisoning - I was hospitalised she went to doctors and was confirmed as having salmonella. I duly complained to co-op who said they needed time to investigate. They didn't. I had to chase and chase them to get a response and in they end they concluded it was not their fault. What a waste of time from a complaints process. I will never shop at co-op again. No respect for their customers and a total lack of empathy.

Very average fresh food quality (if you can find any fresh food amidst the junk food) and really expensive. RIP off.

No Shiraz yellow tail wine no Hurta furta hot dogs no burgers and when I asked for the above I was shown to the "halhal" sausage section after I was looked at like I said something wrong..
Northolt.. very disappointed that they are not catering for the people that are going to co op because of the adverts on TV .
