"DOES NOT CO-OP"

Cannot pay bill, stuffs does not "co-op", cannot read numbers, does not know how to handle water bills. The elder stuff said system does not allow, "Things Changed over 6 months" " WHY?" "EVERYTHING CHANGED!". Co-op is helpless.

"Selling carrots from Israel in Northern Ireland"

I'm disgusted that in spite of Co-operative claims to be ethical and support local, I went into my local store in Northern Ireland for carrots and found that they were sourced from Israel. I have strong objections to this source in view of the genocide in Palestine but it also begs the question of the airmiles to supply this product to a country which has many farmers needing to sell carrots!!

Even though I attended 15 minutes before the designated closing time I wasn’t allowed in as to quote the person stoping me ‘that they do not get paid after 4pm’. I explained I was getting a magazine and would self checkout so 2 minutes of a task but still not let in. This happens most weeks shutters down 30 minutes before closing and poor manager attitude seemingly forgetting customer loyalty can soon be lost.

Buy online delivery from coop . 2 days on bread 5 days on roast chicken breast. Rotten bananas. Got refund for bread. Whats the point of buying online when you have to go to the shop.give short dated stock away. Not charge full price. Disgusting.

"Lack of British produce and lack of ethics "

Coop say they sell products that are sustainable and ethical so why are they selling carrots from a country that is definitely acting in an unethical way rather than selling British produce or produce from Western Europe

I visit the coop Oxford Rd Kidlington. Lot of the time I see James Redden who’s working on the till.
His always so cheerful happy will ask you if you had a good day.
Lot of the time you go shopping it’s hard to find people smiling, let alone asking if you had a good day.
I feel he should be recognised for being helpful.

Co op is a shocking company. Our local aldbourne co op was raided again last night for the forth time. I have emailed co op and phoned them to say they need security as its all female staff but still nothing is done. Dont care about their staff just what they can get out of the insurance. Wont be long untill someone is seriously hurt or even worse...killed.
