Me: When i open it id like to feel misled, dissapointed and cheated. Id expect the topping in no way to match the proportions shown on the box, the box which hides the fact that there is an inch and a half of crust and that only 50% of the bread has topping.

Used to get deliveries twice week being disabled I am 70 years old. The private delivery firm obviously a new driver asked for photographic identity. Never ever been asked this before I do not have a passport or driving licence the driver refused to give me the goods I paid for took ages to sort out another delivery. The driver a foreign guy was very rude and obviously does not know the rules in the UK as only need id if under 21. I have stopped using them especially as I paid 2.99 for delivery as prices gone up get cheaper with morrisons and asda never ever been asked by them for id. Also ignored my email complaint

I went to a coop in Cheshunt and bought 3 quiches ( on a 3 for 2 offer, so at £3.20 each that's £ 6.40 ), 3 mattersons pork sausages ( on a 3 for 2 offer, so at £2.50 each that's £5.00 ), a bottle of amayonnaise ( £1.35) and 2 monster energy drinks (2 for £3.00).
When I got my receipt the total with deductions came to £16.60 but my calculation came to £15.75.
When I contested their receipt, I did eventually get my 85p that I was overcharged but although I was polite I received no apology for the discrepancy or the inconvenience of having to argue for my money.
It's not a reasuring situation when you consider that although the items were scanned correctly, the till gave a wrong total.
Sadly this happened again at another coop in Cheshunt when I bought a bottle of skimmed milk (£1.25), 2 monster energy drinks (£3.00 for 2), 3 packs of hard boiled eggs (at £1.25 a pack but on a 3 for 2 offer that comes to £2.50), 3 mattersons pork sausages ( on a 3 for 2 offer,so at £2.50 each that's £5.00).
I self scanned my items and after deductions the charge was £13.00.
Once outside the shop I added it up and found it should have been £11.75 !!!
I went in and had to wait ages to get my change corrected and again NO APPOLOGY!!.
Please check your receipts with a calculator when using Coop because although it may be scanned correctly, the totals have been wrong at 2 different coops!!!.
They must be making a fortune out of us with these "mistakes".

"Terrible venue"

Terrible venue, terrible service, overpriced and nothing to show for it. Waited 20 mins standing at a desk for 2 portions of chips that cost me 6.50 each. Paid 12 for the smallest ever cocktail in the world. Then waited hours to be told at 9.30 the show was cancelled which they obviously had already known for a while, they just wanted people to come in and spend their money before they told everyone, food in gallery suite was an atrocious choice of disgusting food that no body wanted.

Their pricing policy on wine has to be seen to be believed. Every time, in the past 3 months a wine sells well there’s a hike in the price of that wine by at least a pound, i’ve even seen a wine go up in price then come down again if it stops selling… Surely these practices are illegal and have nothing to do with genuine price rises due to inflation etc… Criminal scammers The Coop is a disgrace…

Have a membership card for a few years now and it doesn’t seem to work or scan. And have no idea why. Not sure who to contact. Either there’s a problem with the store or my card.

So finally the decline of this cabal is complete...
The ONLY thing that was left either edible or cheaper than fine gold was the Bakery...NOT ANYMORE

Just returned from the village co op, a shop I only use for staples in an emergency (the same store that 3 years ago was a REAL LOCAL SHOP with local meat, veg, even pet bedding, I would happily shop there for a weeks shop!!!!)
I bought my milk and the round fresh loaf as ive done many times, but once home and making breakfast I realize the thing is much smaller, Shocker I know, but even better the flour/EXCREMENT THAT ITS NOW MADE FROM IS UP WITH THE QUALITY OF 1980S SUNBLEST!!!!!! So unfortunately to stay alive i had to eat a whole slice of this muck and would not subject the crows to this VILE JUNK PASTE.

There is no other word than Evil !

This entity has infested villages and towns everywhere and now the local people are held to ransom with EXORBATANT PRICES-BOTTOM GRADE QUALITY-MEGA CORPORATE BRANDS - ZERO LOCAL PRODUCE OR CHOICE.

"DPD delivered a parcel to the co-op …"

DPD delivered a parcel to the co-op in Queens road, Bournemouth, as it could not be delivered to my address as I was away. Had I been given some indication of when it would arrive, I would have made other arrangements. I went to try and collect it from the co-op and was asked for a bar code, I tried to explain why I did not have a bar code, I was told that I would have to have I.D, I showed my bus pass and was told that was unacceptable. When I tried to reason with a member of staff he just said I would need a utility bill. Another customer started to interfere in what was none of her business. Instead of telling her to stop interfering he allowed her to become more involved to the point where I was getting very annoyed, I went back home and retrieved my passport, but was told by a member of staff to leave the store and that I would have to contact DPD to get it picked up and redelivered. I was also accused of swearing at the woman who was interfering, which I DID NOT swear. I now have to try and get hold of DPD and Amazon to get a replacement.
