"Is the Coop focusing on deliveries in detriment of customers"
A lot of the reviews I have read are complaints re the delivery service. From the point of view of a shopper its just as bad. Today I was left standing/ignored as of the three counter assistants to were attending to delivery orders and the other on post office service (the post office service being closed.
Not going back. This is a management problem. If they can't man the checkouts, what's the point.

"Absolutely rubbish"
Absolutely rubbish. Using the mobile app is like going back in time 25 years. It takes so many attempts just to get into the app and when you do finally get into it the whole thing is so basic! I surprised this bank is still in business.

"Co-op Bank mistakes and obstructiveness "
I've recently been transferring money from my Co-op Bank current account to my newly opened HSBC savings account to finally start earning interest on my savings. The Co-op said that I couldn't open a savings account with them due to not being in the country. Therefore I've been losing making any interest.
After transferring seven amounts all on the same day, which appeared in sequence the following day in my HSBC savings account, I then received my pension and an investment encashment in my Co-op account. When transferring the cumulative amount, I waited for the transfer to appear in my HSBC savings account, but was informed by email on 16th April the Co-op Fraud Team had detected something:
"We have attempted to reach you, requesting you call us regarding a payment that was made on 11/04/2024.
This payment has been held by our Fraud Prevention System and has now been cancelled as we have not been able to make contact with you and validate this is not a fraudulent attempt to make a payment.
If you require this payment to be made you will need to make it again, this can either be made through online banking, mobile application, branch network or over the telephone."
I therefore remade the transfer via my banking app to myself, paying attention to the remaining balance in pounds, transferring it all into my HSBC account, and leaving the remaining pence to keep the account active for further pension payments and one more investment encashment due to be received any day soon.
When contacting them via their internal secure messaging system, I was told that the transfer, entitled Aviva and Pension, had been blocked yet again.
I denounced their behaviour as OBTUSE and INCOMPETENT (capitalised as such for appropriate emphasis), and criticised them, avoiding bad language, for behaving illogically and getting in the way of me transferring my money to a savings account
Now, the Co-op, in order to save face over their erroneous obstructiveness and self created problem, are maintaining that I must phone them, even though it's blatantly obvious that I'm transferring money to myself at the HSBC. Hiding behind rules to extract their pound of flesh is a measure of their pettiness and unprofessionalism.
Seeing as they regard making phone calls to them at clients' personal expense so crucial to extricate them out of the mess they've created, I'll see if they're prepared to foot the bill for the call. I'd previously pointed out to them that I was kept on hold for more than 50 minutes in January until finally being dealt with, cumulating in something like a 1hr 20min call.
Those who create the knot should accept responsibility in untying it. Co-op Bank, it's time to own up and behave responsibly

"Went to Co-op Wimbledon Park today at…"
Went to Co-op Wimbledon Park today at sunday 21st April and noticed that the meal deal had not gone through and desplayed the full amount after payment, so I told the staff and he said that one of the items was not listed wright, we ended up scanning 9 items in the meal deal area, clearly desplayed as a meal-deal item and guess what they all did not give you the deal, I think Co-op managment are scam artists!
