Shopping at co op is a scam if you do an online order they are out of stock nearly on everything you order yet it doesn't say out of stock online you don't know this until you get confirmation of your order. You pay £4 for delivery but if there out of stock and you order something else to replace what you couldn't get you get charged another delivery fee, you have to pay a substitute fee and the staff haven't a clue what there doing once they brought me spinach when I ordered lettuce they're useless waste of time and space

very unfriendly blank staff they ignore you most of the time or just talk to you in a condescending way if you omit to pay for a 2p bag. Why dont they focus on making sure people do not steal meat from the fridge instead of looking at whether or not I paid for my bag.
pathetic team! they should all be trained or changed or both!

Co op for me isn't great at all the prices are 3x more, than what you would spend at a normal supermarket tesco express is cheaper I think everywhere is cheaper than co op terrible.

Don't go to penarth branch, the managers incompetent and sarcastic believing this to be humour. The staff appalling and the prices now obscene.
If the staff were replaced the floors cleaned it would certainly be improved.

"Absolute farce!"

Absolute farce!

Paid for goods, got called back down street SO EMBARRASSED (you haven't paid) I had!

Marched back in shop to pay again. Fuming, as I'd seen on the screen it stated approved... But was bullied into paying again.

Leaving me unable to pay another bill.

THIS WAS THE LAST OF MY MONEY and I had to borrow it to pay the other bill, now left owing money to someone I'd never usually borrow from.

That was last Saturday. One payment went through, duplicate still loitering in bank.

Called today, told "nothing we can do, ring the bank".

Rang bank, they said call coop back and give them reversal code. Now waiting for an email. This is no joke. I'm fuming.
The only saving graces are your manager of store xxxx who was polite and professional and your telephone representative who was also calm and patient.
I know this can't be helped as it's a computer glitch but you (COOP & the banks) really need to sort this out. It's all so unnecessary and I've just seen other review showing some poor person getting charged 3xs.

SUGGESTION: at least impliment a route that if this happens again (which it undoubtedly will) a way that you and the banks can deal with this without dragging your poor customers through all of this unnecessary stress.

Update this was 1 week ago & yesterday I received a message that within the only 7-10 days my money will be returned. Not good enough!

Coop you are only as good as your reputation, keep treating customers like this and you will have none left. Concentrate on the issues pointed out in these reviews before spreading your wings to giant music venues.

Nobody will trust you eventually and it will all be in vain

I recently joined as a Co-op member trying to support one of the smaller supermarkets but this has never happened in years of shopping elsewhere.
I gave an extra star for the two decent employees who tried to help me.

"Disgraceful Customer Service Coop Delivery "

Coop Delivery. Message saying track your order. The App said Soon. Counted down to 1 min away. Then went back to 'Soon' Then counted down to 1 min away. Then back again to 'Soon' Contacted delivery guy who said my bike has broke and your order passed to someone else. This started at 9.20pm. Msge from coop. We will get your order to you asap having issues. And that was the end of their communication. I rang the customer service number. Message just kept saying we know your waiting and will be with you soon. This was at 10.20pm. Absolute joke. Nobody was going to be with me soon, as the line had actually shut 20 mins before at 10pm. But the stupid recorded message just continues. Someone at the coop must certainly have known that my order had not been delivered. But no common decency to contact me to let me know. Just close up shop and all go home. Disgusting service and a bad way to treat a customer. Kept my money though!!

"im absolutely fuming"

im absolutely fuming, i took a trip to co op this morning as it was a warm day so i fancied a volvic water, only to be met with the biggest bloody fricking rip off ive ever seen. £1.60 i spent on a volvic water which was 750ml which was fine UNTIL after i paid and saw a 1.5 litre bottle for £1.10 i cant be wasting stupid bloody money like that ive gots a kids and tranny wife at home . ITS DISGUSTING, could have bought a new Porsche and cant buy the thicc tranny wife a new penis anymore. sort it out you stupid ripping off scallywaag.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Coop really do have a card payment…"

Coop twydal shops do have a card payment problem which could be qwite embrassing for some customers. After trying to purchase an item and being told your card has declined to find out the coop have infact charged you 3 times for one item that is still stating your card is being declined thankfully ( I believe the manager) did let me take my one item which as frustrating as this was I was greatful. But having to wait several days for a refund that you may even have to contact the customer services to actually recieve dispite being told it will just bounce back in ypur bank aftera few days.
I really enjoyed shopping at the coop but I think after this experience I will only be shopping there if I have cash. Have you noticed the lack of response from coop on these reviews just shows there loyalty to customers. No wonder half there stores have closed there losing customers daily. And we only entertained them because we thought you were for the people clearly not!
