"Taketours a good company you Can trust!"

Thank you taketours!
To be honest I’m a human being not a random robot comment!

I just received my refund $4,000++
It took about 18 days refund processing back to my debit card account.

I’m so happy and relieved it arrived. I would suggest to contact directly operator ms. Suzy Suzy@ gotobus.com; or email support@ gotobus.com. She Can help you with refund problems, she is understanding and a good Communicator. She explains in a calmly manner. Not like other chat operator Need more training.

They considered a refund with processing fee deduction due to visa refusal.

God is good.
Taketours a good company you Can trust!

"2-Day Vermont Mount Snow Ski Tour from New York(SK2)"

We were very glad to have read all the opinions on this site before booking the tour as it prepared us mentally for the below:
- TakeTours is just an intermediary, the actual trip is organised by a Chinese agency (in our case it was E-World Travel & Tours Inc) and so everything is chinese - the guide, the bus, the bus driver, the food, the hotel, even the pickup locations are only in china towns of Brooklyn and Manhattan
- instead of sleeping in Bennington as announced on the website we ended up in Brattleboro which is 40 miles more on the east
- website only mentiones snow tubing as optional activity for the first day, when on the bus we got to know we will also be visiting a farm on our way (and will have to pay for it what was not mentioned on the website)
- the optional activities were virtually forced on people (fortunately we were actually interested in them) and the price was 20% higher than the one we saw on the website (and than the one posted at the place of activity)
- optional activities + dinner + service fee summed up to 83 dollars per person (which had to be paid in cash) which was half the price of the whole tour - might seem a bit expensive

There were however good points of the trip:
- the bus was clean and comfortable
- the guide (Freeman was his name) was very friendly, helpful and well organized, spoke good English (luckily there was only 1 Chinese couple on our tour so all the explanations were made only in English)
- Mount Snow is a really nice place for skiing and we had a great instructor (Amy) who in 1h30 managed to teach us the basics which then allowed us to enjoy the slope on our own

All in all we had a good time, nice experience for someone who has never had skis on their feet before. I don't think however that we will choose TakeTours to book any other trip (too scared of getting into a group that will be predominantly Chinese...).

"Absolutely atrocious"

Absolutely atrocious. Booked tour 2 hours later or shouldn't wasn't available and I then have to wait 7 working days for a refund. Went on to chat and the customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. With one sentence just saying 'wait'. Keep well away.

"4 day Seattle to San Francisco tour"

A complete waste of time and money.

Day 1: we did nothing. Literally nothing! Except for pick up from the airport and drop to the hotel. We were only 5 of us and for a day or a night tour they required at least 4 people. The hotel was so far from the city that the only thing you could do is sleep and wait for the day to get over.

Day 2: international rose garden that had 0 roses. Japanese garden that requires at least 1 to 1.5 hours. The tour guide gave us 30 min for rose garden and Japanese garden combined. The Japanese garden had a $15 entrance fee BTW. Not gonna give my dollars to run through a 10 min garden. PORTLAND CITY: the guide dropped us in the rain and asked us to EXPLORE the city on our own for 2 hours. HAWTHRONE BRIDGE: never went there. Again, the hotel was in Roseburg where we dont have anything to do even if we want to visit more places in portland.

Day 3: supposed to go to crater according to the website and one of the representatives of take tours if the weather is fine . The tour guide said they NEVER take tour to crater lake in winters. (The national park was open and there was no snowfall BTW) They literally lied to my face and cheated to get money out of me. I am a student and had spend all my savings on a worthless trip like this. I regret my decision!

In total a complete waste of time, money and vacation. Please BEWARE of the low prices they offer, every attraction will have an entrance fee and you will never get enough time to spend there. Plus a MANDATORY tip even if you think they don't deserve anything for the kind of service they provide. Go by yourself or some other tour that has the value for your time and money and most importantly- has some ethics to not lie to the consumers.

"Literally this tour has nothing in …"

Literally this tour has nothing in common with his name: 2-Day Niagara Falls Tour from New York/New Jersey, I would call it Go, even if you don`t want to not interesting attractions 2 Day in a row.

We were picked at 6102 8th Ave - Brooklyn, NY location, with a driver who wasn't speaking English. It was hard to find out what he is picking us up (communication was: explaining with hands level), by the way he wasn't wearing nothing with company name (no vest, jacket, t-shirt or hat at least). Small buss (9 places I think was bad smelling, without any fresh air inside and dirty) was also without any logo's or even without printed out (or hand write) note that it`s company bus.

We reach main bus, it was without safety belts ( I event don`t want to think what would be with passengers in case of accident) and no space for the legs and rest room only for urgent cases. Few days before we use other company bus, for shorter distance (about 80 miles) and it has all comfort!!!! For the record, distance to Niagara falls approx. 400 miles!!

In the bus we find out that our tour map was totally changed.

We get some document, with really strange rules, or compensation, for example: In case of incidents or accidents tour operator for delay more than 6 hours: refund of one day`s bus rental rate (usually 800$) shared by the amount of passengers on board.

Second thing, guide didn`t have phone with possibility to call international calls, so if we are lost, or something happened it`s our problem.

At very beginning our guide sayd what we NEED to go to all attractions, even if we don`t want to go. If we are not going to attractions we need to be out of the bus (winter time – 10 or more degrees outside) because of the law. We didn`t want to go to places what we didn`t know nothing about.

1. Secret Caverns. Now when I`m reading about them, I can see that it`s real tourist trap, which is following one of the tour buses en route to Niagara. We had perfect time outside with drinking tea, walking around lake and enjoying view.

2. Dinner. Guide sayd that we need to pay 18$ for dinner each, because she organize dinner for everybody. We were traveling 3 girls with different allergies and food toleration, so we could not go to each restaurant. Guide sayd that it wouldn`t be any open restaurant in city where we will stop (again for the record: Buffalo is the second-largest city in the U.S. state of New York and the 81st-most populous city in the United States.). We had nice dinner in nearby supermarket, and we can choose what we eat!!

3. Niagara falls hotel. Guide sayd that we are very lucky and going to live in NEW hotel, location of hotel was really good (just 3-5 min to walk) but about `New` it was sayd too much (think it`s at least 10 years old) and cleanliness at the hotel not the highest level (drink spot on night table, hole at ceiling at bathroom).

4. Niagara falls visiting. Guide lost her way to Niagara falls 2 times (3-5 min to walk, and she is a guide...). Haven`t heard any information about Niagara falls..

5. Two more attractions what we didn`t go. Driving out of Buffalo to watch falls from other side (we talked with guys who did all attraction and they sayd that it was the only one worth). And watching movie about Niagara falls. Seriously, to be at Niagara Falls and to watch movie, but not enjoy REAL VIEW????

Instead of that we had PERFECT time walking around Niagara, we even reach Canada side, get our stamps to passport and really enjoy our time there.

6. Corning Museum of Glass. For us it was enough to check souvenir shop, for the record: 99% of items was made in China, so telling story about great museum of glass was more then funny. One more trap for guided tour tourists.

At the end of the trip guide asked to pay mandatory service fees, actually we have no idea what for we need to pay (biggest part of passengers was surprised too). Guide sayd that it was for guiding, ordering hotel and etc. (everything what was included to tour), she even take these money from child (under 2 year) who was traveling with his parents. As guide couldn`t explain us why we need to pay for this, because all what she mentioned was included to tour. We asked for receipt, to be sure what she is not getting illegal income and we sayd if we wouldn`t get any official document, we will contact tax office about tax evesion and fraud. We got two: one (wrote on single paper sheet with hand, any official papers at company bus??) second one (it was promised to send it in 3-5 working days) by email next day, that make us concern that not all incomes are legal in this company.

All attractions was payd ( we know that, but it was mention: If you want to go, so we don`t want to go there) and there WAS NO any plan B, you should go or do. Feels like Communism time, when all is equal.

We were 3 persons, who is traveling a lot, but it was first SO BAD experience

"Pesimo servicio"

"I took a SFO three day tour and as …"

I took a SFO three day tour and as other users have mentioned, this tour is only for Chinese folks. The tour guide is utmost mean and rude . Infact my daughter had a 103 fever while in the bus and the guide very rudely denied in bringing the temperature of the AC a bit up. What a shame when you can't be a good human being , forget about being a good guide.NEVER EVER GOING TO TOUR THROUGH THEM.
