"Stay Away!"
Do not use Fluent Home for your alarm company. I have placed a plethora of calls to their absolute joke of a customer service department trying to cancel my contract. All that happens is the agent transfers you to yet another agent that can’t help you. Email is an absolute waste of time too. Over a dozen emails and the only response is an agent attempting to engage their retention department. It has been nearly a month of this circus and still no resolution, they just keep taking money from my account.

You just can’t cancel. They have you jump through hoops to cancel and spend so much of your time on hold. Still trying to cancel.

"Poor customer service"
I cancelled my service in the middle of March with a written declaration like Fluent asked. I paid my final payment in April and thought that was the end of it. I was no longer on contract and paying month to month. In May I was charged again for services I had already cancelled. I contacted Fluent and they said my issue is with API (the billing company). So I contacted API and they told me Fluent needs to issue the cancellation email. I emailed Fluent regarding this and they tell me it’s a system maintenance issue. It’s been 2 weeks now and still no refund on my money. I have spent hours on hold trying to get through to talk to these representatives. I am very disappointed in both companies for wasting my time and not making it right. If this is how they do business I would reconsider using their service.

This company operates like the mob! After 5 years in the contract, they will try to keep you. They will not answer billing questions, claim they haven't received certified cancelation letters and place you on hold when you call until phone disconnects. All this to try to extend your contract and get more money for poor service. Choose a non-contract service for your needs. Trust me and the other horror stories!

"Zero stars"
Zero stars - WARNING!!! Worst company I have EVER dealt with!!! I am going to have a mental crisis because of their lack of honesty and respect for fellow human beings. I have had nothing but problems with the equipment and spent about 7 hours and counting on the phone, on hold, etc. Bottom line, they say it is a 36 month policy, but won't show me proof with my signature on that supposed contract. Fluent wants me to pay over $600. to leave. WTHell???

"Thanks Shanina for the extraordinary service"
I was a customer for five years and sent cancelation letter on April 12 2024. I've been calling since then but unfortunately it was a nightmare to find out someone who can assist in the cancelation.
Today, I was very lucky to talk to Shanina, a well experienced, cooperative and supportive. She provided me with extraordinary service and resolved the issue within no time. I wish Fluent Home had more of Shanina to support customers from the first call.
Thank you Shanina for your extraordinary service. Indeed much appreciated.

"Fluent’s Representative Red saved my account"
Technical support representative Red, listened, understood issue and resolved my issue even though it was an accounting issue. Definitely outside of his specialty. The only Fluent associate who didn’t treat me badly. Excellent communication skills, overall knowledge of the Fluent organization.
