Is it possible to rate below a zero? Systems are junk and breakdown 2 years into a 5 year contract, then they try to charge you a fortune to send a tech. Then when you try to cancel they try to rip you off and say it “auto renewed” I was on phone over 45 minutes just to get them to tell the truth about me sending a cancellation email 9 months ago and them trying to rip me off for the past 3 months. For a security company that’s supposed to protect they lie and cheat!

"0 is too high of a rating"
I wish I could give a rating below 0. Time and time again I received unprofessional, unknowledgable, and ineffective customer service. In fact when I asked a question they said they can't answer they were reading the instructions. They deleted my camera from the app and then wanted me to pay over 100 dollars for a technician to come to my home after they deleted my camera. This is not the first time this has happened. I asked for a supervisor they placed be on hold then disconnected me. This is the absolute worst company I have ever worked with. Do yourself a favor and donot work with this company!!!
I just saw the company responded to my review. The number provided is the same number I had trouble with and I was not assisted and was hung up on. I should have had my issues addressed from the start . Now because the review is posted I receive a response. The company should have reached out to me immediately. But that is ok. Because this type of customer service will no doubt result in losing more customers. It is very disappointing to see companies like this who treat customers with such a dismissive attitude.

"Would give -5 stars if I could"
Would give -5 stars if I could. I have been trying to cancel my contract for over two months. This company's responsiveness and customer service are absolute garbage. I have attempted to call customer service repeatedly for assistance and end up waiting over 30 minutes for a representative to come on the line and end up giving up when no one does - although I assume that is exactly the strategy of Fluent to retain customers who wish to cancel their contract. I signed my contract five years ago, never actually used the system, and wish to cancel my contract. I sent notice to cancel in writing via fax, within the timeframe outlined in the contract. No one from Fluent emailed or called to acknowledge the fax or confirm cancellation - again, I'm assuming another strategy is to just ignore a cancellation request from a customer. Fluent is absolute garbage - would NEVER recommend them for home security services.

"There should be ZERO stars"
There should be ZERO stars. Been with this company for 10 years. They called a couple of weeks ago saying that I had to upgrade the LTE cellular radio module at a cost of $200. No choice in the matter, I asked which account and they said 2nd account (I have a house account and a second account for our business). I said ok and they said I could install (it would be easy) and get one month free or they could install for free. The module came in and I couldn’t remember which account needed the new module. I called Fluent and the person said the house account. Installed with her guidance and it loaded the shop instead of the house. And they did something to the shop control system so it doesn’t work now. I asked to speak with a supervisor about sending out a technician and was hung up on. Called back and was automatically put on hold-for 2 hours. Never got anybody on the line. So my house and shop were not armed. Got back on the phone this morning and after an hour and 50 minutes, they still couldn’t fix the system. I am fed up and now waiting for a call back from a technician to schedule an appointment. A fight with them to the bitter end. I’ll wait for the callback while I research a better security system. And a won’t have a security system until whenever.
Update: they say to call them back, why? So I can sit on hold for another 2 hours? Not acceptable.

I wish there was a way to give no stars. I’m not even a damn customer, and I just have to say y'all have the absolute worst customer service I have ever experience, and I have to call DMVs for a living. Between my husband and I, we spent over 2 hours on hold to just tray and get a quote, not a single person answered in those two hours. If that's how this company is run, then I'm out. Your reviews are also horrifying. I wouldn't even trust y'all to protect and monitor a picture frame let alone my house and family safety.

"We have been with Fluent for 5 years…"
We have been with Fluent for 5 years and in the last 2 1/2 years the system and customer service has gone down hill. Customer Service and Technical service is 100% awful! They messed up our system so bad that they could not fix it over the phone and wanted to charge us to send someone out. They kept saying they would call us back after us calling them multiple times to get the same issue fixed.. They would never call back. Also trying to get someone on the phone is nearly impossible. We called today to cancel our account and they said we had a 3 year contract - We never signed a 3 year contract and besides that we have been with them over 5 years now!!! Are they really that dumb? They person on the phone argued with my husband and kept saying they were going to send someone out - We don't want anyone coming out we just want to cancel! We are now looking into an attorney to take them to court because they would not cancel our account and wanting to charge $$$$ to cancel. Please if you are reading this look elsewhere for an alarm company - Their response time is horrible and you could be dead by time they called you.
