"CONTRACT TRAP - HORRIBLE SYSTEM, RIDICULOUS POLICY, AND THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE"

It all started when my lock door started faulting. It took forever to connect with customer service via Chat, Call, and Email. When I finally connected, I was instructed to troubleshoot the issue with their technician. Then gets transferred to another technician again, and still unable to solve the problem after working on it for almost an hour.

Then they suggested sending a technician to my property, which is what I wanted from the very beginning; however, There's a fee, and I'm now responsible for it!

I then asked to cancel the service and found out that I was on a five-year contract and required to pay for three more years in advance to cancel.

It's so bad that I'm willing to pay to be finally free.

"One star for the gear"

One star for the gear, the gear is faulty they will charge you. Cost over 100 for smoke detector. The panel will beep continuously good luck getting that fixed you will spend days on the phone and the panel will still beep. Good luck trying to get some one on the phone. I have been living with faulty door bell camera, smoke detection and the world’s most annoying panel for 2 years. I have left fluent for good.

"Disappointed "

First it took 3 weeks to get a tech to come out to replace my outdated panel which kept going off for no reason. Later when I went to set the alarm it showed front door open, called again and no fix was possible so they’re sending new sensor, for which I will pay for shipping and install myself. The saga continues. Very dissatisfied

"CALL THE POLICE IF THEY DARKEN YOUR DOORSTEP"

If someone from this joke co. rings your doorbell, do NOT answer the door. Better yet, CALL THE POLICE. First of all, they DO come to your house unannounced contrary to what they claim while you are on hold for someone to answer. The 'salesman'that comes to your door will NOT take no for an answer. Then just to get rid of them you agree to take their service, they have you sign on a tablet with no written contract in sight until they send you one to your email. They don't bother to tell you how long the contract is for or that when you do want to cancel it is NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. THIS IS ONE DESPERATE CO.

"After my over priced 5 year contract…"

After my over priced 5 year contract was up I searched for a way to cancel my account since they said I required an upgrade due to loss of 3G signals. This was either a $300 service call or another contract. After multiple calls only to be put on hold each time (one was 4 hours long) no one picked up. (Funny because the sales department picked up within minutes) I had to search for the method to send a signed cancellation letter. Hopefully I am done with Fluent for good.

The outdated panel is password protected by the installer and that doesn't allow for DIY so they require you use only their upgrades.

"AVOID THIS COMPANY"

The worst! Please AVOID them. You can’t pay a bill on the app. They have also decided to go with a third party to pay bills and it’s nearly impossible to get someone on the phone to speak to a representative. I’m not sure how they are still in business when their service is subpar.

Rod was an excellent technician, very knowledgeable and polite. He calmly explain what my issues were after listening to me, he also explained how it would be resolved. Then he went ahead and assisted me in resolving the issue. I truly greatly for his service.

"A very knowledgeable responder!"

The gentleman that called me was very knowledgeable and very easy to understand. He clearly described what I had to do and we got the system back up and running. Because of several power failures in our area the backup batteries became low and the system froze. Thank you Fluent for providing me with such a knowledgeable person to help get it going.
