"Great work, slightly overenthusiastic sales approach"

The work done was excellent and all the AWR employees involved (initial salesperson, surveyor, installers) were courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. The only reason I've taken one star off is for the slightly excessive sales approach post install - I'm happy with the work to replace my door, I'll come back to you as and when I'm ready to do anything else.

"Poor quality products low standards of care plus misinformation "

We have paid £4200 for new facias and fitting. This company has attached poor quality fittings to the old cement. When we were quoted by the sales rep he said they would take out the old concrete and replace. A reputable roofer came to sort our apex roof and did a video of the shoddy workmanship done by AWR. The aftercare from the company is zero. After several emails and phone calls they sent their roofer out and his response was its OK!!!
Do not use this company as they are as described by another roofer cowboys.

Scaffolders arrived in the morning and widow fitters arrived in the afternoon so all arrangements were dove tailed. The windows are of excellent quality, we have had others fitted earlier in the year and choose to have more fitted. Both windows were bathroom windows and no tiles were broken during the fitting, which is excellent work.

Tell you there is no magner today

Then say they are the only one in the office with a manger

So you ask to speak to the manger and they hang up

Had 4 days of work to rectify there mistakes like a smashed window in my house that I have glass crystals everywhere

And then the wrong letter box fitted

And then a window and door that doesn't fit right

Very positive experience, workers turned up early and got on with the works , work was thoroughly done and not rushed all looks amazing ( soffits and facias , front door etc )

if you expect a basic level of customer service and QC DO NOT use this company, nobody cares after you've paid you 12K bill! Started when their salesman turned up on what should have been installation day and knocked to ask me where the fitters were! (trying to sell to my neighbours). i called the office at 11:00 to ask where they were and was told they would be with me in half an hour. i waited and hour and half called their office back to be told they'd broken down and wouldn't be coming, they knew this immediately but had not bothered to contact me. i was offered different dates and weekend working, none of which fit in with another contractor booking we already had. i had to really push to get the next consecutive dates booked meaning more time off work, but also preventing additional costs with other contractors. fitters came and disputed some panels for a dorma, then realised they had missed items on their itinerary. i wasn't happy with the finish of our dorma, i raised this with them and was given a full explanation as to why i hadn't got what I expected , which is all good and well had that conversation taken place when i discussed my requirements with the surveyor, or prior the the bill being paid.

the installation was complete 14 June, i was left with no window keys, a missing hinge cover and outside vent. Obviously i had to call them (numerous times) to ensure these were sorted, the keys and hinge cover were sorted after only 3 calls and one missed appointment. The vent cover however is still outstanding today 22/07. This vent install has involved 3 missed visits, one attendance where they turned up with the wrong part (for the windows they installed!!!!!). After waiting a couple of weeks i called again last week and was assured this would be resolve Friday 19/07 ..............guess what? no phone calls, no vent cover AGAIN. i wish i'd held payment back, then they may actually do what they say they will. i have no faith in this company and would not recommend
