"When is a promise not a promise? When its made by Roofline"

This is a follow up to the review I gave on 19-02-2024.
This company is an absolute joke and a very unfunny one at that.
On 17th Feb 2023 my 84 year old Mother in Law decided that the roof on her conservatory needed replacing as the old one was sagging and was leaking.
( Please refer to my previous review for full details).
After many visits, phone calls and promises the roof is in a worse state than it was before.
one engineer came out and dismantled the inside of the roof exposing all the metal work after taking some foam out saying it needed re-fitting and someone would be intouch to sort a date out,no-one did we had to chase it up.
An engineer came out and said he knew nothing about what needed doing and after a brief inspection said it needed some caps on the outside he had them on his van and would fit them. he came back and said he didnt have enough but would fit what he had and would return. That was six weeks ago and he still hasnt returned, the steel work is still exposed, we have towels stuffed in the roof. we had a visit from an engineer on 8th March who agreed the work was substandard and he would get it sorted and we would get some compensation for the inconvenience.
Enough is enough we have been advised to get an independant inspection from a qualified roof company and pursue a legal claim against Roofline.
I know that sometimes people exaggerate when leaving reviews of this nature,so I will be posting pictures on Facebook so you can see and judge for yourself if the work is upto the standard they set themselves.
my Mother-in-law believed them when they said they would do a top notch job and subsequently put right any problems that arise.
All i can say to roofline I hope your happy with the £10000 you took off an 84 year old widow and wont make good on your promises.

"Aftercare terrible "

Aftercare terrible ! My doors faulty what I had fitted a few weeks ago and they have broken my doorbell wire....somebody was supposed to have been coming round yesterday...nobody turned up....rang them yesterday someone is supposed to be ringing me today...as of yet no call...and not replying to emails !!! Avoid !!!!!!

Great work by the fitters. A very high standard. However work took twice as long as advised, partialy due to bad measuring by the Salesman/Surveyer and, I have to agree with another reviewer, shoddy and unprofessional scaffolding. Not only was it not completed properly it has left marks on the patio that will not come off.

The job was done well by two fitters 4 Windows and a door which was finished in less than a day, but the problem we had was we was given a date which was cancelled because there was a problem with the door, we was given a 2nd day for the job which was cancelled again because of illness, the job was finally finished on the 3rd attempt. I've no problem with the job done, it was done well but could do better

I had 3 individual times given in 1 day,nobody turned up to do the work,Work done in the evening,finished unlevel,untidy finish,.I'm not happy.

Ryan did a great job. He was professional and pleasant. He explained how to operate the door and gave a demonstration.

Definitely 5*. Excellent job and service. The workers were on time, polite and cleared up afterwards. Made a real difference to our home.

Good communication. Great quote. All the team are friendly and knowledgeable. 3rd lot if work done now front windows back windows and sofits and facias which look way better than my neighbours coverd tlin sealer! Passed them on to my in laws too now.
