What a waste of time and effort this company are !!
They just side with the agents/landlords and ignore the Tennant.
Be careful people, your rent can just increase without you being notified !!
Mine was. Had recieved an email out of the blue stating my account was in arrears !!
I contacted the agent straight away, to be told that notification of the rent increase, was supposedly sent to me 2 months prior ?!?!
Never recieved it and they could not prove it was posted or emailed to me.
But apparently as it's a "legal document" it's deemed as being served WITHOUT proof of posting or confirmation of reciept..!! Total con...!!!
If that's the case, what's to stop them saying "we notified you 6 or 12 months ago so your account is 6 or 12 months in arrears"?
Obviously 'My Deposits' must consider that all Tennants should be psychic, and just know when their rent is increased, to allow for the agents ineptitude in doing their job properly !!
Total loss: 22% of security deposit.
Inept Agent: Taylors Countrywide.

"Unfair Deposit Dispute Decisions- always backing Tenants"
As a Landlord I used their services twice and they have been utterly unfair in their decisions over deposit disputes.
I would consider them borderline criminal, damaging honest landlords who wasted their time and money complying government legislation, just to receiver unfair adjudications.
Rubbish.
