Genuinely the worst company I've ever dealt with.
Ordered a £400 chair almost 2 months ago. They delayed past their 10 day policy, continually "checking in on the warehouse" whilst also going through "staff shortages" and "annual leave." It was clear after a month they couldn't fulfil my order and once threatening charge back they attached a refund titling it "APPARENTLY IM A LIAR." Incredibly rude and immature staff. 0 compensation offered, no alternatives, 0 transparency. Before you go to purchase, try calling their number - it doesn't work. That is all you need to know. Please avoid.

"Unsure if I'd recommend purchasing from here"
I'm not quite sure how to rate this purchase. On one hand, I did receive a genuine Humanscale chair for an extremely reasonable price. However, if you buy from here, there are some things to watch out for. As others mentioned, the lead times are quite long and the chairs take a while to be dispatched. I only received one dispatch email (which unfortunately went to my junk) and no "your package is due to be delivered today" alert. (There was a tracking link, but it was flagged as suspicious by my browser.) The chair just randomly showed up and luckily my mum was there to take the delivery. Also, my chair was *extremely* dirty when it arrived. All the wheels and castors were filthy and even had hair trapped in them, so I had to spend a lot time deep cleaning everything. For the price, it would be nice if the chair arrived in a cleaner condition. The back of my chair was also pretty scratched, but this doesn't affect the performance or comfort and I knew I was buying a refurbished product, so some dings like this are to be expected – just make sure you're aware of that if you do order from here.
In summary: very cheap, genuine product, but somewhat dodgy delivery and beware of dirt as your chair may need a deep clean like mine did.

"Delayed, no communication, cancelled order"
I purchased a refurbished leap v2 office chair for £365 and was told it will arrive within 10 days.
On day 10 I had recieved and heard nothing, so I reached out to them for information and was told that they are missing some parts and do not have a set date yet, but will let me know by the end of the week.
The end of the week went by, I messaged them on Saturday, asking for updates, with no response by Monday.
On Monday, I asked what exactly they were missing from the chair and when I could expect to receive it. They responded by cancelling my order. I asked them why - when I made that purchase, there were 3 chairs in stock, but they could not fulfil my order. They provided no explanation about this or anything else.
If you can wait 4 weeks or more to recieve your chair and dont mind if the order gets cancelled, then maybe give it a shot. I will be avoiding 'The Office Crowd'

"Great products, long delivery times. "
Ordered the Chair on January 3rd. It arrived about a month later despite the delivery time advertised being 10 days.
That said, the chair is EXCELLENT and was refurbished perfectly - it looks undistinguishable from a new product.
They did communicated and update me throughout. I came very close to cancelling and having my bank dispute the charge, but the quality of the product was so good for the price that I'm now considering putting up with another month long wait to get another.
Make of that what you will. =)

"The product itself is excellent"
The product itself is excellent, and the re-upholstering is decent. Considering the price, it offers outstanding value.
After doing some research, I found that for the same price, my options were either low-end chairs from well-known brands or unattractive, questionable-quality chairs from no-name brands. This refurbishment service strikes a great balance between affordability and quality.
One area for improvement is communication regarding delivery timelines. While I wasn’t in a rush, clear updates are important for many buyers. When I reached out for an update, I received a reasonably quick response, but proactive communication would have made my experience better.

We love our refurbished office chair. It looks great and it is really comfortable. The lead in times for receiving our chair were longer than those on the website. I decided not to spend time chasing it and just be patient and trust it would arrive.

"Avoid - don't deliver goods"
Chair ordered 4th Jan, still not received 10th Feb despite numerous chasing emails. Excuses so far have included being busy from christmas, someone being out of office & a power cut at the company. They now don't seem to be responding to my mails, have had to dispute the charge via my CC company. AVOID.

"What a terrible experience"
What a terrible experience. Purchased item 17th December. Sent a chaser to them asking where my item was 10th Jan to be told my item was being worked on and should be out the following week. Contacted again 20th Jan to be told they were 'missing parts' so would get it out ASAPwhen the parts came in. I ended up using a different company as I wasn't willing to wait months for a chair and got a refund.

"Quality is questionable"
I was really impressed with the product as delivered but very recently one of the arms has broken down and I assume the faux leather has cracked. I haven’t used the product very much until recently and the cover to the arm on LHS has split. When you compare the two arms one has good quality leather with a much more resilient cushioning compared to the arm that has broken down and split. I assume the arm that has split is a replacement but not to the same quality as the original arm. Will be looking for a replacement arm cover LHS.
