I came home yesterday evening and could not get into my security door. I locked both of my doors before leaving for work. I had to go through the dark alley to get into my apartment. I pulled out my spare keys and those didn't work. However both sets work on the back doors. I have had several issues with this apartment ever since I moved in and all I keep getting are dry apologies. I'm sick of it! I called the emergency, manager and resident care numbers to no avail. For rent you all are charging in the hood with no kind of assistance is embarrassing and ridiculous. But I bet you if that rent is late y'all know to reach me then. I need to be compensated period.

I am a new tenet with Pangea...however my move in process was great! The apartment was ready for move in with new appliances. The office staff was very friendly and informative.

"Mixed feelings"
Nice and quiet place, but the leasing agents and the maintenance tech are not helpful. There is still cold air and wind blowing into the living room through some cracks and gaps from the patio door and the entrance door. For sure I’m expecting my energy bill to be higher. For some legitimate requests I made I was told that the maintenance cannot fix them and that I can do it myself. I am somewhat disappointed.

My personal opinion of Pangea is that since this is my first apartment and I really wanted to have a good experience, I feel like the company is doing what they need to do to ensure that there are no hurdles I have to jump over. Paying rent is easy, getting things taken care of is easy and so far all of the staff I've encountered has been very polite, thorough with information and willing to go the extra mile through the entire process. Thank you Pangea for making my husband and my first apartment rental a breeze. We're grateful.

I live in Blue Island Illinois and Pangea took over as the new owner will say I have a issue with my two Living Room heaters work when they want to work I've put in 7 different work orders and they came out and said and replace the thermostat and said everything's working well about 7 to 10 minutes after they left heater stopped working so I end up having to call the Blue Island inspector I had to call them three different times and the property manager who's Jamel Jamal out however he tells me am I keep turning it off and on until it clicks on well I've done that a couple of times and then finally I just stopped I pay my rent on time I am a tenant who is about business and clearly it shows that Pangea has a bad rep and they are Apartments they have been in and out of court so I tell the property manager well let me get off the phone so I can call Blue Island and he goes to say it doesn't make sense to of them keep calling them it does because when you all aren't fixing you all Blue Island is issuing tickets and eczema tickets end up having to go to court so whoever's looking to move do not move into lumens / Pangea apartment keep searching and keep searching until you're satisfied and comfortable look at the review on Pangea apartment thank

"Terrible"
When I moved in the water pressure was VERY low for the hot water and my gas was not working I called them the same day I discovered it. They said 1-3 days. They came the 3rd day and the maintenance guy did fix ANYTHING. They said it was high priority. It has been almost an entire 7 days that I have not took a shower or bath neither have I been able to cook anything.
