"Steve's Rentals, Southend…"

Rented a vehicle from Steve's Rentals in Southend, the vehicle was fine but when I picked it up it was 3/4 full. When I returned it, i filled it at a station 2 miles from the drop off. Then the next day they charged me £11 to refuel a van that was already full. Save yourself the money and find another renter, these guys are thieves.

They run away with my money, I made a reservation before the pandemic, du to the corona outbreak my flight was canceled, I contacted them because i wanted to cancel my rental with ample time in advance, they answered my first email asking for more details and then never answered back. Now after 1 and half year and several emails sent i realize they shut down even the website, so no much point in writing this review since you cant use their service anymore, just doing it to join "the angry people" clan

"RUN !!!! scam and fraud broker with other rental cars"

i had to claim extra undocumented charge and written in the contract ( 100Euro) since 17 Sep 2019 they asked for all details even the bank ccount to refund it but till now not even feel sorry for that i kept chasing they are replying by cartargetgroup.com it is scam way never trust these unknown broker just check the reviews before dealing with them i had included my booking number with this review for trust review

J'ai loué un véhicule chez eux. Le confinement étant là je n'ai pas pu me rendre au pays où je l'ai réservé. Ils m'ont pas remboursé. Ils ne répondait même pas au téléphone. Agence à éviter. C'est des escrocs.

"I rented a car w? NÜ Car/Action Car Rental in Orlando, FL"

I rented a car online with NÜ Car Rentals (named ACTION Car Rental at the site in Orlando, FL) using Expedia services. I paid in full $698.94 for 3 days on a full-size SUV. When I got there, the person at the counter was looking around for a car that was supposed to be a full-size SUV/Dodge Durango or similar. He said he could do a small Mercedes C300 for $600.00, which was a bit cheaper than what I had reserved. He told me my credit card was not working so he asked for another card for the $200.00 deposit. To my surprise, I notice through an e-mail notification from my bank he had debited another $698.94 + $200.00 deposit, which was a surprise because they did not mention it during the reservation. Also, Expedia was not aware of the deposit that can go from $200,00-$500,00!

The man at the counter finally, gave me a iPad to go through the car and mark any issues or damages I saw it on the vehicle. I found no issue with the car, came back at the counter, and returned the i-Pad. They did not give me any paperwork and said it was all electronic, hand me over the key. When I saw the overcharge, I immediately called the car rental which was less than an hour after I picked up the car. The person at the counter said I would need to contact “Billing” department to resolve the issue which was only available on Mondays-Fridays.
I spoke with someone at the counter when I returned the car and he said he could not do anything because I had to call “billing dept”. It is almost impossible to get someone from billing on the phone as they put you on hold forever. I filed two complaints with Expedia who also tried to contact them, and they did not answer Expedia calls either, or they returned e-mails. I spent several hours on the phone trying to resolve it without having a single person talking to me. Instead of honoring the $698.94 paid in full to NÜ Car Rentals, their local affiliate ACTION Car Rental at the site in Orlando, FL charged me again another $698.94 + $200.00 deposit making the total charge for the car $1,335.63 for 3 days. When I confronted the man at the counter on Monday Feb-22, 2021, he said I had upgraded the car to another $200.00 a day (to a total >$445.00 a day, instead of my $200 bucks a day for a full-size car!!!). That was a total shock!!! That little car was advertised on their site for $214.00 a day, which was already expensive. That is a total LIE as he sold me on a cheaper car because the full-size SUV was apparently not available! At this time, they have not refunded anything including the deposit. I am tired of calling and staying on hold. I filed two complaints with Expedia who is trying to help but experienced the same issues I had.

Check 24 hat den Fall auch verschlampt. Jedes Mal wenn ich eine Sachstandsanfrage schicke, heißt es seitens der Check 24 es fehlen diese Dokumente und das. Obwohl dass ich am Anfang alles eingereicht habe und nach fünf und einhalb Monaten kriege ich eine Mail von Check 24, dass Vehicle Rent Insolvenz gemeldet hat. Ja toll jetzt bleibe ich auf meine Kosten sitzen.

They also lie about their costs and double them when you arrive for pick up.
They charge your card falsely, admit their error and never repay the stolen money.
