"Massive source of stress"

Utterly miserable customer service, yet again. This is the third time my car has been in for a repair and the third time I've been let down by poor communication. I haven't once been called back or updated in the last 4 weeks. Weirdly, when my husband calls, he gets updated despite the fact its my car. I'm not sure why Josh on the service team does this. I won't be contacing their customer care team this time as nothing changes and the apologies from the branch manager are meaningless. I just hope future customers read this review and avoid Pentagon Lincoln.

"Very bad experience"

Very bad experience, stay away from this dealership ! I put a deposit down for a new pre-registered car on a Saturday, I had to do all the leg work to chase Simon the salesman, even after 4 days no call back. It's almost they don't want to sell cars.

I told the salesman I wanted to buy the car, please email me a confirmation and the paperwork, he didn't seem interested at all. said he was on holiday for two days, he'll call me when he gets back, guess what, no phone call.

Totally put off by the no service attitude, these people are not doing justices to a very good product.

"Avoid If I could put no stars I would!"

If I could put no stars I would!! Appalling service, raised a Complaint under the Consumer rights Act which has been sent to customer.care pentagon-group email address and I've rang them several times on tel 0330 etc and been put through to the general sales manager who couldnt come to the phone or even call me back,
clearly blanking my calls! The car is not Fit For Purpose and has been rejected due to brake malfunction and they made no effort to contact met yet I have sent numerous emails and called 3 times to chase in the last 16 days. I paid almost almost £28,000 for the car which has been in the garage for the last 4 weeks and is still there, so they have my money and my car! Even the courtesy car has a faulty window but they dont care! All delaying tactics to avoid refunding me from both Pentagon Sheffield and then Pentagon Arnold Delaying this process by giving wrong information and being rude! When I bought the car they hounded me calling me 4 times in 24hours yet the after service is shocking and the sales guy just says its nothing to do with him. They have caused and still are causing so much stress. I would avoid like the plague!!

"Terrible-intimidating service staff/never got the car working properly."

If I could give the Tritton Road Pentagon Vauxhall garage less than 1 star I would...senior service man condescending, my car was not repaired, not once has the start/stop worked..I previously asked for a test drive and was refused, told to go home and drive car as normal. Felt too intimidated by the senior service man and 1 of his colleagues to go into garage so had to send in daughter-she noticed also that the footwell was once again muddy and as beforw the start/stop didn't work...it never has even in front of the garage staff. Disgraceful. Avoid this dealership at all costs. Official complaint is being logged.

"Another vehicle damaged by pentagon…"

Another vehicle damaged by pentagon ford warrington. Vehicle went in for a service and reported bonnet to be misaligned from new.
Came out with a dent on the bonnet with no impact damage and was obviously from someone pushing down on it.
Totally dismissed they had caused the damage. Ignored for 7 days until I visited the dealership.
What they will do is damage your vehicle take a picture in there workshop and say it was there before they looked at it.
Will not return phone calls will not acknowledge emails just rude and arrogant staff.
Avoid at all costs Stockport ford far better

"Do not buy from this company!!!!"

Do not buy from this company!!!!. bought 2 year old Kuga car all sorts of guarantees and promises, been in for repairs 3 times still there this time after 10 days and they still they do not know how to fix it. They do not have the technical expertise and are relying on the web for solutions and still waiting for an answer- im still waiting for my car.
Update 3+ WEEKS in ford technical advised after " daily contact" have you tried rebooting the cars computer
Update 5 WEEKS they have had the car this time still no nearer to a fix I bought this car to tow my caravan and now have missed most of the summer and autumn holidays asked for a tow car they said they would contact the hire company and didnt even bother to ring me back to say they couldnt supply one. Tried to downgrade this review but couldnt go lower than one star

"Poor aftersales, no communication."

First impressions were great, made an email enquiry which was answered within an hour. All subsequent questions answered within a timely manner, which along with the other 5* reviews prompted me to arrange a test drive.
On test drive/purchase day, again, super nice, friendly staff. The deal proposed, I was happy with, and the couple of issues I pointed out, I was told would be remedied prior to collection... All sounded good, so sale agreed.
We arranged a handover a week later, which I was told the car would have a Cupra 'approved used' inspection during the week along with a full valet, great service.
The day before handover, I called them with an ETA, and was told they would pass on this message to the sales member who was dealing with me.
I arrived at the showroom, and the salesman looked bewildered. Here's where the positives end. The message hadn't been passed on, subsequently, the car wasn't ready. They quickly valeted it, but didn't charge it, even though I was charged a fuelling fee. When I complained, this was refunded.
Having owned the car for 5 days, I checked the tyres, to find the rears only just above the legal limit. I made numerous phone calls regarding this matter, again with messages taken and not passed on. No calls returned, no emails answered. I asked for a copy of the pre-delivery/handover inspection, and didn't get one, presumably because it never had one, otherwise they would have spotted the tyres. Finally the business manager, did take ownership of the situation, and arranged to have my car collected and replace the tyres along with a health check/inspection. I also pointed out a couple of other issues, which included the pre-sale issue. When I got my car back, the tyres had been replaced, but the other issues hadn't been resolved as they 'Didn't have time'. I was again told the aftersales manager would call me... No call received!
The health check/inspection sheet I was given, included checks for petrol/diesel cars, which were ticked... My car is an EV, so obviously the check sheet was just filled in to pacify me.

I know I will just receive a generic reply, and I don't suppose my issues will be addressed.

"shocking experience with severely handicapped motability client"

shocking experience, even though I have maximum advance payment for motability, and healthy additional features, could not have bothered at all. I was shouted at because I went to the wrong place, but no one told me which location dealt with motabilty, I was then told I could not park there, despite it being a blue badge designated parking area, because they wanted to get a car out.

I had to get in move my car and was told to do it straight away because they were late for an appointment.
I waited and waited for someone to attend in reception , but no one could be bothered, after 15 minutes, I went in search of someone, to be greeted with the information, that no one from Motability works on the weekend, I explained that I knew this but I was informed that a lady would look after me. apparently she was off sick, and no one would be available, I was then indicated to go to the back of the showroom and look at the grandland, but no one could answer my questions.
this is despite the fact that everyone, and I have evidence of this, was just sat at their desks looking at screens. this company and branch do not deserve Motability status and I will be reporting this to the Motability scheme.

"If I could Pentagon less than 1 star I…"

If I could Pentagon less than 1 star I would! So far I have been absolutely appalled by their inability to carry out my repair in a reasonable time frame. I've been waiting nearly 5 weeks so far and am at least another week away from getting it back, although so far they have not been able to stick to any of the suggested time frames they have given me. Unfortunately, reading the other reviews it seems they are very happy to go the extra mile when selling cars but that's where it ends. If they don't enjoy the repair side of the business, why do it? They are getting lots of money from Insurance companies but don't actually care about offering a good service. Don't bother replying with 'I'm sorry to hear you're unhappy, call us' I've already tried that and it's made no difference. It's a complete waste of time. Please if your Insurance company recommends them AVOID at all costs and try someone smaller who actually cares about their reputation.

"Thankyou - great service!"

Just want to say thanks to the Team at Pentagon Peugeot in Burton upon Trent - especially Leighton who went out of his way to find us the car we wanted and sort out the finance and registration in record time. Brand new 2008 in 3 days! Excellent work and customer service . We live in Manchester but would defiantly go back to Burton ...it's worth the drive!
