"Excellent care"

My cat Albus was very poorly & Village Vet worked tirelessly to diagnose & treat him. He was in their hospital all weekend & the vets (Jennifer D & Anna) kept me informed of his condition throughout the weekend, and they were compassionate & kind to me (as a very distressed pet owner!) I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this vet surgery.

"Vets here have no idea how to handle pets"

First and only time I'll ever use their non-services.
I registered my cat in an emergency. I explained what the problem was.
Then the vet couldn't examine my cat as cats don't like being examined under their tails! Nothing much they could do but charge me for a few medication. So, let me get this straight. I paid £200 for having to do the job of cleaning the cat's glands MYSELF.
I'm truly disappointed with the service as it takes a considerable effort to get my cat to any vet. Cabs and all!
Then being told that, in effect, the vet is unable/incompetent/couldn't be bothered to handle the cat.
What's the point of this practice if they can't look after pets in pain and distress?
I'm not going back there under any circumstance. Not buying the pet food they advised me to buy and not booking my cat to have his teeth cleaned.
I can conclude that this vet is only interested in selling more expensive add-ons instead of treating pets.
This should be banned.
I plan to complain to Trading Standards about the whole matter as I'm truly upset that my cat was left without much treatment.
I'm asking other pet owners to avoid this practice.

I've witnessed an Irish vet during the night kicking dogs bandaged up. Cruelty upon belief but nothing is done. Violence to animals definitely goes on at this practice. I've lived in Belsize village for 10 years. I've seen graphic abuse to dogs during the early hours.

"Over priced and poor service"

They charge you for everything, prices are more expensive and quite frankly it is rubbish service, I went to Tallaght and Clondalkin.
I could write an essay here on the amount of times they lost tests, charged me a small fortune for an ear infection 150 euro where previous vets would charge for the drops. They charged for a lab and never bothered to give me the results.

Also charged me for urine tests when I went with my dog saying I think he has a kidney infection, I was a Month before I got anti biotics because they kept losing the tests.

They are joke and charge you a fortune, go to a local small business vet and your animals will be better cared for.

"Uncompassionate reception staff"

The vets were great but I'm so disappointed in the reception staff. When my cat passed and they were informed by the referral team at DWR, they didn't cancelled the pet plan with me, I then had to tell them to cancel it?! Then they STILL charged me for it the next month. When I called up they were reluctant to do anything and said the accounts team would get in contact. It's really drawn out a horrible experience into something extra stressful. They also sent me through the incorrect pet's bills when I needed them for the insurance and were just overall quite insensitive about the whole experience of losing my pet.
They were rude sometimes, told me my flea drops were ready when they weren't making me make unnecessary trips out to pick it up, no apologies made.
I would not recommend them for somewhere that is compassionate and caring. The vet care was good, however, can't fault the vets or nurses at Whittlesford.

"The worst vet you can imagine!!! "

The worst vet ever!!!! All they want is your money, ZERO care for your dog!! If you are thinking to sign up with these guys, DON'T!! Look for a private vet which is actually ONE person, one vet and not a money hungry chain. I've been with them for 3 years now, every single time I go there, they are very arrogant and not happy to help you at all! They act like they are doing me a favor even tho I am paying them every month. The vets are very young and no experience. Every time I go there I leave pissed off and annoyed by them. All they want is MONEY MONEY MONEY in return they give you no care, no attention to the poor animal. They say they have an emergency service included in my package!!! Dont fall for this, this is all bullsh*t and just another way for them to charge you TRIPLE if god forbid something happens to your dog. I don't recommend this vet at all!!!

"Primrose Hill is Ace!"

They were there for my elderly little girl in my time of need and excellent. They worked with me and my budget and the front desk was really caring and spoke to me about their preventative care payment plan which makes it more manageable. The vets were really great w my girl and reassured me all the way. Finally my 18 year old cat is back to herself (for now!). They are open MWF only, and if you need emergency care, you need to go to St John's Wood!

Unfortunately vets keep leaving. As advertised I discussed my dogs itchy paws and before the vet even looked at my dogs paws she discussed money. On the whole it has been great but the constant change of vets made me leave.
